So 24s are the biggest size rims you can fit into an explorer? i have a 2002 Ford Explorer and i want to put some rims on it without making any mods to the truck or lifting it are 24s the biggest?

@silverr616 you can put 26's on with a 25 series tire... but in 7 months I bent 8 wheels on 30 series tires (fatter tires). So... yeah

Quick question. I own a 2004 explorer and I'm wanting to put 20" rims on it. Can I get 20" rims on my explorer without having to put on a lift kit?? And also, if I get 20" rims with I have a decent amount of tire around the rims so I don't have to worry about damaging the rims when I hit a pothole or something. Thanks

@mervie17 My explorer has no lift, and I have 24" rims, with tires fat enough that I hit craters in the earth without damage. You'll be good bro!

how much did the ford cost total? like the upgrades alone costed how much without the stereo

@mdetroitfan truck was about 8000 or so (but it was more 3 years ago when I bought it) 24's were about 3000, grills about 300, HID's about 200, halos in custom painted housings - 500 bucks, tint - 200, tail light tint was like 50 bucks,leather was about 1500, the rest was elbow grease, interior paint...

Stereo was about 3000 at the time. Would be about 2500 or so now.

@9094design Yeah brakes aren't quite as good. It is a bit slower but I don't put 100lb rims x 4 on a car and expect anything less than a loss lol :)
