But even in the wu wei, some thoughts are not simply observed: they result in actions, as making, "just one more video". It is because there is a strong impulse, uncontrollable, actual, from the deep Being. The actions are so spontaneous that it seems not to have effort in them. They are the love-motivated actions. So, "doing nothing" is almost "refuse to do to see what this body-mind really want to do". The result is the authentic, actual, integrated Being acting. The Whole acting through us.
@Jeromepsy001 not necessarily, sir... insights in the right brain concerning previous studies may easily and instantly explode in effortless comprehensions within left brain, which are automatically transcripted there into explainings through "neural captions" made by words, the vehicle of the left brain. Then the fingers write it, working effortless too. Relax and see!
This apparent doing nothing is to remain in right brain. But it is not exactly "doing nothing". When we remain in right brain, there is not the illusion that we are controlling actions. Actions take place by themselves, by impulse. More comprehensive and all-things-taking-account actions. Instinctive and true actions. Even when we determine: "this is the last video", it is the left brain, believing we can control the future impulses (cont.)
I see that thoughts and all mental activities that are built over words are only the left brain in action. For thousands of years this left brain has controlled our actions. That who clearly sees all these activities in form of thoughts (and all the rest too) is the right brain. This is our "here and now" the sentient in us, awareness, aware of body, sensations, atmosphere... the right brain, connected with all rest, is sensible to environmental energies. Connected with the whole. (to be cont.)
this is really interesting, thanks:)

doing nothing is not trying to do nothing. its giving up all resistance to life by giving up the egoism.
