Actually, this happens to me in nearly every game too, along with me shooting a guy point blank with my Striker(I LOVE THE STRIKARR) and just getting sprayed by his UMP45(Hate you)

I mean, I even get time to see the muzzle flash of the third shot, but don't even get a hitmarker!

Happens to me all the time, most annoying part of the game, doesnt matter the "lag" its almost as if they programmed it in for the bullets to wrap around corners. And as with others this is the reason I broke two controllers. Cant put your head around a corner without creating a magnetic field of instant death

i have this alll the time too. I haven't had the luxury of seeing any of my opponents frozen in time like you were in the video.. So possibly the problem is my own connection... I play on a wireless connection to my router. That said, ive never seen such laggy things in other games, such as CSS

Yep, this is what pisses me off about the game the most. In most cases, the people with a 4 bar connection will do the best. Now, this isn't the case in every situation, but in most, it is. Sometimes I'll be shot at by people and I'll run behind a wall/lie down behind a cement object and still die, then in the replay, I'll still be in Line of Sight of the shooter. The weird thing is, is that it's no where near as laggy as in the video. It's alls mooth.

@Shortkid110 haha ye. my friend was lagging cause the dumb host was playing off his cellphone connection. he saw a dude in a window with thermal, hardscoped him right in the head. like 2 seconds after the sniper saw my friend and layed down after he was "shot". no chance of missing...he was prolly thinking "crap! gunfire! i need to quickly move before it hits me!"..

In CoD4 I had no trouble getting into gaming lobbies. In MW2 it takes me anywhere from 15-45 minutes to get into a match on any game type. So I have to agree that we need dedicated servers. It would fix a few problems.

The most is has ever taken me is about 2 minutes so it might be the connection speed on your part.

But here's the fuck up thing, if it's too slow or too fast, you'll have connection and lagg issues.

There is no true way to fix lagg, not unless there is a universal speed.

Basically everybody playing on the same speed.

The speed of your connection would adjust to compensate for location and distance. Lets say you play with a 5mb over the entire region you live in (Let us say the U.S.) but then you get partied up with somebody in the U.K.

Your connection and their connection would then adjust to give you the best possible game.

Although, you still have to worry about ping.

Its your connection thats at fault here. You can tell by looking at the other person running normally, then you are jumping. Be wary a green ping doesn't mean good connection

SNEAKYMODE: This is PING time, the difference in connection BETWEEN players, as all connections are different speeds etc. So what you see can be up to 140ms different to what everyone else sees, depending on the PING of the particular match. This is almost impossible to fix. Just make sure that you go into matches with as small a PING time as possible, which is what the servers base theyre matchmaking system on.

I'll often find that I'll move behind cover and then die even though the guy was shooting where I was rather than where I'd moved to. Even the killcam shows that I'm no longer where the guy is shooting and I move around a corner yet he still gets a hitmarker and kils me :/
