HI..........Yes, it can be confusing....Some of the most popular are the New International Version (NIV); the New Amercian Standard Bible (NASB); the English Standard Version (ESV); the King James Version (KJV) and the New King James Version (NKJV). If you are refering to the "New World Version" of the Jehovah Witnesses............that has some trouble spots in verses that refer to the deity of Jesus.........that's not a recommened version ..........and Tyndale was from the 16th century..
I see thank you for your input. it is still confusing which version this video is referring to. my research tell me the recent version is the new world and before that the tyndale version.
I have done some research and found there have been at least 10 versions of the bible. Each version is proclaiming to be the one true version. Each version was rewritten and revised and translated many times. I do not understand how someone can use a verse from this latest version as any kind of evidence to prove any kind of point.

@unitruth Hi......generally speaking the different English translations do not claim to be the only true version. That's not true, nor were the different English translations revised, written and translated many times...........and besides we can look at the orginal languages of Hebrew and Greek...
wrong . in the old testament i believe they were saved or judge ect... by their works on this earth if Jesus Christ is our the messaih, who is elijah and why is he mentioned to be and i quote "Lo, I will send you a great prophet Elijah before the great and tirrible days of the Lord's comes." in malachi 4: 5 we are also ask in this book to not forget to keep the law of God which are his ten commandments one being that the Holy day God's sign or mark is to be only on the last day of week . its sat
@imcrazy85 Paul says that Abraham was justified by faith...............and Moses had not yet given the law...........He lived long after Abraham.. We are justified by faith and faith alone.........but if it is a living faith is will want to live for God and keep his will............but how we live does not add to our savlation by faith..............how we live shows whether are faith is real or not..........
@nschaub what about Joshua and Caleb? weren't they saved and served God also? where do they stand? Joshua is an underrated or underestimated person never to be as much mentioned as other heros of the Bible :(
Hi....we accept everything in the O.T. that applies to all of humanity and not just Jews and as taught in the New Testament...that's the basis for what we accept from the O.T..for example we don't make animal sacrifices any more because Jesus fulfilled that.....we don't stone sinners to death because that applied only to the Jews and is not repeated in the N.T..and we can eat things that the Jews could not eat (like pork) because Jesu declared all foods "clean".
Could you tell me the difference..I'm really tired..I've had a long day today and a long day tomorrow and really don't have time to look at your site..so would you please just tell me.....Pastor Lassman
Do you know the difference between the old and the new salvation? I know you do NOT!
I made a web site about salvation. It will add to what you already know. Please stop by and read 'Salvation According to Scripture' and let me know what you think. You can use the message board to respond.

Good clip and great way to succinctly describe the unfolding of Redemption from the Fall to the Consummation.
