I believe in Afrocentrism, AFRICA IS 1!! so celebrate that, lets put down the weapons against our brothers and sisters. let us respect the african girl child and our women. let us learn each other cultures and intergrate and not become stagnant. let us celebrate our music together, drink beer, intermarry and share our lands, let go back to the old generous africans we used to be, the wise africans who could tell time without the machines, Africa this is our time, lets shine all over! i love all
Thandiswa sends chills up and down my spine with her delivery of Modern Tribal Fusion ... to my mind Thandiswa, Simphiwe and Lira are "the" voices out of South Africa to take note of ...
I LOVE THIS TRACK........YINDABA KABANI UMANDILAHLUMLENZE......THAT IS THE QUESTION.......AINT NO ONES BUSSNESS!!!!! ONLY IF YOU XHOSA WOULD YOU UNDERSTAND THIS SONG....

Yo, yo, yooo... I just love this song.. and the video its... splendid... (just beautiful!)... Even when i am far from home, i just tune in to this one and i get to remember "Who am I" i just proud to be Z.A... Holla! frm the Far east...
Niceeeeee. I only understand what the guys is singing in Shona (a Zimbabwean language). He's saying "The sounds from our side, the sounds from your side...the drums(music) from our side and the drums(music) from your side.... So, you and I, lets mix our music together and make music." I think this is a beautiful song that speaks of the true beauty of African music.
@kbee247007 language is no fckd up bredrin,i guess if it was sung in english u will b over the moon, imancipate urself of race hatred, probably ur blek dissing ur own bantu bredrin ,jah live up,b proud of ur own pple

just what IS being white? what does color have to do with how a person acts?! i don't see any black people getting buckets of paint painting them selves white, AND correct me if i'm wrong but don't people in africa paint themselves white all the time for religious reasons? so PLEASE, tell me, just how are people "trying 2 b white"?? because i have no idea what that means
@XcupcakeXprincessX I am white ... and not proud of it. I hate the white culture, it's addicted to money, authority & no really human things ... I think, that splitting the races into Good (White) and Bad (Black) was the reason for very very much hate of the human at each other =/ (Sry for my bad english I am german i think you know what I mean)
@DutcHcHinK hey! I see that you are not to proud to admit to the unrighteousness done to the peoples of in this world...It makes a whole lot of a difference to see that europeans aren't completely done in by the "white is right" doctrine! I guess there is a place for all of us in this world. And as soon as the elite have gone... there is going to be much love from one continent to another! We need more of this natural songs and rythm in african musics
I'm just tired of africans trying to lose the cultures and all get the hip hop cultures
PLEASE people let's keep the cultures and traditions alive.
We are very special people on this earth let's celebrate our songs and dances other wise we will loose everything and trying to put ourselves in other people cultures....
from the liner notes: Whose business is it if I dance, I am proud, take such pride in you Africa, we live through music, yes we live through song, wherever, however, Africans live through song, so whose business is it, whose business is it if I dance.
l must say with all do respect to sis Thandiswa, ukulahla umlenze,(sleep around)has nothing to do with being proud of your people or country. Nice song though
so who's business is it if i dance....lose translation guys...her new single is out(wena o i ngoma) love it love it...i bet the new album will be better than this one...
Eisssh! This song reminds me of the good olden days visiting my mum's in the Pondoland (eMangcwanguleni, Libode).Back then, life was all rossy and looked like this "Eden". Amampondo were always full of life unlike the cold Abenguni of Engcobo(my dad's side). 4 ages I could c myself getting married 2"INTSIZWA ebhince yafohlela", thee "Guy" of the village dressed 2 kill with a big FM(radio cassette) on his shoulder!!! Oomabuyekwendeni, abafana kunye neentombi had a blast over X-mas besinela lengoma!
With so many countries that were colonised by Britain, I am nt suprised that billions speak the language. For the colonised-it was forced down their throats...no wonder peopel think it is easiest language. I disagree...Pho indaba kabani?
African languages are not really difficult, understood a nice thing called subject concord for example intombazana is girl in Xhosa/Zulu and izintombazana is plural becaue in becomes izin, umbagazame is politics(singular),imibagazame would be plural um(u implied) is imi) and so on, for fifteen different noun classes
This songs been in my head for weeks! If you have this song in mp3 cud you email it me please? or if you know where I can either buy or download could you direct it me? I've been scouring the internet and cant find it. Thanks for the post!
it means that whos business is it when i want to break a leg (on d dancefloor)..its in ma language xhosa d most complex language u wil evr hear abt..many meaning for everythin!!
i totally agree-i 2 am xhosa n i'll admit its a very hard language,it possibly is the hardest language ther is.ther r many diff meanings 4 evrything n der r diff words 4d same thing.
sorry there, but english is the easiest language in the world, with one of the smallest alphabets why do you think so many people know it?? it is one straight road. most african lanuages are more or less like greek:-))
Hi Naitore, I beg to differ with your comment that english is the easiest languange and thats why many people speek it. Thats not the reason. The british had a strong navy/army and they colonized almost the entire world, from Africa, Asia, The Americas, etc. I've spoken english and swahili all my life, and I know swahili is way much easier than english(my opinion). What we see depends on where we stand
I agree; I speak Siswati and Zulu, and believe english is just as difficult, mainly due to the very extensive vocalbulary. English has so many words...and so many different phrases and idioms, that many african languages just dont have.
English has got to be the most complicated for it varies. its a combination of so many languages and wherever you go there are so many dialects that will make your head spin. the same word may have two meanings or two words have the same meaning or the same pronunciation but spelled differently. so thats confusion starting right there. where as most other languages are simple and what is said is what is meant. thats just my opinion.
im hooked on this song, is part of this song in english though, if not... someone please translate, or give me a breakdown on wat dis song is actually about... Thanx
The video is well done; amazing pattern- 3 women dancing different patterns yet beautifuly coordinated. Variety of SAs traditional dances compacted together. Great stuff
from the liner notes: Whose business is it if I dance, I am proud, take such pride in you Africa, we live through music, yes we live through song, wherever, however, Africans live through song, so whose business is it, whose business is it if I dance.
yes, i have the CD too, but i wish the lyrics were in the language in which she is singing (Xhosa?) -- does anyone have these lyrics? i have searched on the web but have not had any luck . . . i LOVE this song and sure would love to know the "original" words!!!!!!!!!!
Wow love how even though there is a very tiny bit of english they both sing in their own languages, true to their cultures and who they are. Very Nice - I like the song
Thandiswa has set for herself and the rest of the country a high standard and it would be a great fete for other local musicians to produce music of this caliber

English has got to be the most complicated for it varies. its a combination of so many languages and wherever you go there are so many dialects that will make your head spin. the same word may have two meanings or two words have the same meaning or the same pronunciation but spelled differently. so thats confusion starting right there. where as most other languages are simple and what is said is what is meant. thats just my opinion.

from the liner notes: Whose business is it if I dance, I am proud, take such pride in you Africa, we live through music, yes we live through song, wherever, however, Africans live through song, so whose business is it, whose business is it if I dance.

Thandiswa has set for herself and the rest of the country a high standard and it would be a great fete for other local musicians to produce music of this caliber
