the song is called "Train Car" by Ryan Kickland. You can find it on kickland. com or it's from the album "Wood Carvings" by Ryan Kickland on iTunes or Amazon.
I am so sorry, I don't know - I had to pick some music from YouTube's AudioSwap in order to replace my original choice of music (in reaction to copyright issues). And I did not make a note of what song I chose (it had to be some piece with a similar running time)...
This is just an excellent video. Both Shakertown and High Bridge have always been almost magical places to me. This captures the essence of both. Great editing, by the way!
Interesting. I live along the coast of southern Maine, approx. 25 miles away from a working Shaker village. It is the Sabbathday Lake Shaker Village in New Gloucester, Maine: the last working Shaker community in the world. It's not operated by a trust, but operated by the Shakers themselves, who still live and worship there.
it is nice to be there with you in a way, everything is so seamless and relaxing and calm and beautifully pieced together and edited with music. (part 1) Gorgeous skies trees and open road. (part 2) Beautiful wood work and stairs and bathroom. (part 3) Nice footage of stern wheeler and High Bridge and Kentucky River water glimmers, (part 4) The serene stillness of the Shaker Village (part 5) the cemetary, the animals, the signs and the road. Very nice. 5 stars.
Great vid! I haven't been to that Shaker Village since I was in grade school. Also miss High Bridge! Thanks for posting.

I almost said the Belle of Louisville down the Ohio River was a good one. But really you just see the city, this definatly has it beat.

Very nice, I live in Lexington Ky and love to have dinner at Shakertown - it's a beautiful place to spend the evening.
