Belief in god can be of 2 types - emotional and factual. Atheists argue because there IS NO factual basis for belief in god. But the ones who emotionally depend on their preferred choice of gods won't buy into a factual argument for the very reason that it's what they NEED and have been brought up to live into it. That's why this argument eventually heads into stale mate.
I think both of these guys are wrong. I think we should let people believe what they want to believe. If they want to believe that there's a god, fine. If not, fine. It should be their choice.

When bonds within the nucleus of an atom are broken, the total mass of the resulting products is slightly lower than that of the original nucleus. The mass lost is converted into very large amounts of energy. In any given chemical reaction, the loss or gain of heat energy is accompanied my a miniscule change in mass.

As an atheist I still agree with O'reilly when he says it's an insult.
It's not a direct insult saying u are morons but saying that they aren't able to see through a world wide scam which they define as stupid is an insult to the poeple.
It makes me sad that they chose this aproach because they are right. There's not valid prough for religion but it's plain stupid to not understand that christians actually really believe in God. People have for ever believed, why would they turn into liars now?

The atheist believes that there are atheists within the church (like the pope) that know the truth about Christianity, making the entire Christian society one big scam. All he's doing, is explaining his believe. Of course that doesn't prove anything. But it's the same thing all religious people have done for centuries, saying what they believe, without any kind of decent argument. He isn't condescending anybody.
