85 degree GPU temp!!! If you keep that up your GPU will start failing. That's the avg. max. threshold for GPU temps. you are more than likly giving it damage
you can still get this non-ripoff gaming notebook (ahem... Dell XPS, Alienware).

I recommend the world's fastest notebook:
** Clevo D901C (aka. Sager 9261) **
-its got 17" WUXGA (1920x1200) LCD, Intel Quad-core CPU, SLI interchangeable videocards (7950GTX or 8700M GT at the moment), 3 internal HDDs, internal TV-Tuner, 4.1 speakers, and can house Blu-ray drive.
with the current Low/Medium Settings, I get about 23-43 FPS @ 1920x1200.
When I bring down the resolution to around 1680x1050, I gain about another 10 FPS.
This friday will show if Crytek actually optimized their game better, so maybe I can get the high FPS if they did their job.
I am playing the UT3 Beta as well on this notebook, it definitely performs better (high resolution with amazing visuals) due to the well-programmed coding from Epic.
whats the Diff between D900K & D900F

actually, its a good temp.
This is a notebook 7800GTX... its danger temp is around 94-95C degrees... and threshold around 105C degrees.
so 85C is a great temp for it, I always clean out the fans and vents... and re-apply new Arctic Silver to the GPU when needed.

what kind of frame rate do you get with a lower screen resolution. Its insane to run at it a 1920, 1200!

this notebook was the World's Fastest Notebook when I built it back in March 2006.
Its using a desktop socket 939 CPU.... can handle up to Athlon FX-60 or Opteron 185.
Currently I am running an Opteron 175 (equivalent to X2 4400+) in it.
