I wouldn't care if it was 1 out of every 1000 cases was a rape case...
I don't see any reason to be unable to tell someone that they can't have something in their body removed. Just because someone doesn't eat healthily doesn't mean that we can't remove their tumorous growth caused by that indulgence. It can be argued a fetus is more than that, but then it makes it difficult in other situations.
Most importantly we have enough unadopted kids growing up to be bitter angry criminals.

A few women dying from illegal abortions isn't morally equivalent to the millions of babies who die from legal abortion. The babies are still dying either way, but now in greater numbers. Likewise you can't justify abortion by saying it will happen anyway, since that's true of every violent act.

kazooga, I never said I didn't care about pain. If you'd been paying attention, you'd see that I care a great deal about pain, and that is why I have been encouraging you to see a doctor about your depression, rather than wallowing in your suffering out of some misplaced loyalty to "goth" subculture or irrational fear of "meds."
Giving birth is natural, it's not some kind of evil. Pain itself is not evil, without it we'd die pretty quickly. And killing is not an acceptable "solution" to it.

My point is that depression is a treatable illness, so forcing yourself to be miserable in depression is irrational, and then expecting people to take you seriously on medical matters is just ridiculous.

ALL illnesses and diseases are a "part of life" kazooga. Do you believe that we should never take medicine or seek treatment for any disease, illness, or injury? Then, why apply it suddenly to one specific condition known as depression? Would you rather have a miserable life and risk dying from suicide or reckless behavior? Of course pregnancy hurts, everybody knows that. Did you know they have medicine for that too, to ease the pain of childbirth? But apparently since you have an irrational opposition to medication (ALL medication?) you probably didn't think of that, kazooga. Women naturally give birth following pregnancy. I don't see why that means we need to give men vasectomies to "even it up."
