There are checkpoints as far as Washington State as well as Oregon. This is the first thing I'm debating about that relates to this country because it's illegal. I'm a concept artist I don't follow politics, but these checkpoints are wrong and illegal and I would take your word for it if the only states in which these checkpoints are held were located solely in the states in which there were excessive violence or are next to a border, but there aren't.

There are checkpoints as far as Washington State as well as Oregon. This is the first thing I'm debating about that relates to this country because it's illegal. I'm a concept artist I don't follow politics, but these checkpoints are wrong and illegal and I would take your word for it if the only states in which these checkpoints are held were located solely in the states in which there were excessive violence or are next to a border, but there aren't.

To me, rational debate is a sharing of facts supporting differing sides of an event or position. Passion only fuels irrational thought. I prefer to let people make up their minds based on those facts. Courts tend to judge the facts, not the feelings.
So for who is "right" or "wrong" in an encounter such as this, I simply look at who is following the law and who is not. My personal feelings do not alter the laws.

That was the first thing I wondered when I saw this. They MUST have probable cause to stop and search a vehicle. Note that he says this is under the Clinton administration. Watch Hillary closely, she's in a position to enact a great deal of policy on the world scene. I dont get it. There is like a 7 minute ranting from some guy about the US being a 'Police State'. He shows up to a check point to prove his point, that 'Warrentless searches' are being conducted by the US. But, the video doesn't show anyone being searched. And, if the police were to stop someone at the checkpoint and see that they are impaired, that gives them reasonable cause to search the car.

Theres no exaggeration here. The fact is, you people have simply accepted this kind of behavior as "normal". I know, the whole Fourth Amendment this is really confusing [sarcasm]. It doesnt matter what the excuse is for checkpoints. Its an excuse. Period. I dont know who the host is, nor do I care... but SCOTUS's support for warrantless vehicle searches is wrong, period.

Alex Jones is known for taking things so far out of context that it doesn't even make sense anymore. This is a sobriety checkpoint and Mr. Jones is just adding his own spin of paranoia to an obviously known and acceptable police procedure. If drunk drivers werent responsible for so many deaths this type of thing wouldn't occur.

I would like to know when they made this film. We have DUI checks around here after every holiday. Problem is the tv news tells people where the DUI checkpoint is going to be, so if the drunk watches the news he won't get caught.
