@pickelsAREtasty Post some videos man! i was thinking of getting the rane empath rotary and SL4 to replace my sl2 & 2channel vestax. im now thinking of just getting the 68.
@pickelsAREtasty I have my DDM4000 since the week it hit the market and have no problems with it. There is nothing out there with the same or same amount of features that the DDM4000 has for less then double its price. If I was using it PROFESSIONALY making money off it all the time and it died on me after a year, I would probably thank it for its service and get me another one. It would still be cheaper for having its technology.
PS. that was some awesome extended warranty you got there.
Just saw it today for the first time at Atlantic city Dj convention. I admit when I first heard the price before seeing it, I said, no way!!! But after seeing it in use, worth EVERY PENNY! I use the 57 and must say, the 57 can't touch this thing in comparison. Aside from being incredibly good with video mixing, simple audio mixing dj's will love it. I have to give it a 5 star all the way.
this mixer reminds me of the berhinger ddm4000,wich i am very happy with. I also use it to control serato and man it awesome to be able to have gr8 control of serato all from your mixer. this mixer looks really good too but i'll be damned that im payin $2,500 for it. the berhinger cost me 369.00 and it does pretty much everything the rane does.only difference is rane has the usb slots.
If your a dj who does private gigs then why buy the rane 68. ddm4000 is been out for a while who copied who?
i have been controlling 4 decks, videos, video fx, a buch of fx for audio, cueing, and everything that you can do with this mixer for a while now, only with virtual dj and my Behringer ddm4000. And my pc is used for tons of othe stuff.
I can buy the DDM4000, virtual dj, and a laptop and do all the same things this mixer do, (except the USB thing) all for about a third the price of thios mixer.
@dscope14 - My guess is, yes! I've said it from the beginning on the forum...that info screen is waaaaay too small!! The text on it is tinier than on my watch!
Another thing that stresses me is the exclusion of "delay" on the effects section. Oh sure, it has "echo", but echo isn't quite the same as delay.......major oversight RANE!
Regardless, I've almost got the money saved for this beast.......can't wait to bring it into my lab.....bwaahaaa!
That's interesting at 1:53 how he puts his hand over the effects screen. Maybe it's unrelated, but does this mean there could be a problem reading it in a club type lighting enviornment?
MUUUCH TOOOO EXPANSiVE!!!Only rich people can effort this thing..... they should make it effortable to everyone....i know, lots of features... but this price is way too high!!! RANE!!!Think about it!!!! Thats not cool....
the lil blue screen seems to be bad, he can't stop to put his hand over it cause the brightness is to weak.. it might be ok while you r deejaying in a party during the night....
BUT WHEN you r training in the afternoon in ur house.. anyway great mixer but to expensive.
Okok thanks, do you know if Rane plan to make another mixer..ttm 58sl ( with 2 channel).. cause this is not really what lots of people did expected.. Even me, im waiting for the next generation of the ttm57.. so if you have some news about other mixers from rane (or even pioneer).. hit me back. thanks
HUUUUGE Issue... using REGULAR Vinyl or cds to make the transition between DJs..^^
But... is it possible to use 2 setups (two turntables with the 68, and for example a vestax pmc 05 with two turntables...) with the soundcard?
