Nah, both of them were using joysticks. Almost all top players do for Street Fighter games. There are very few pad players who place high in the Capcom Fighting Games, though there is a few occassionally.

Damn, alex valle could use some work with his denjin ryu. He needs to be more aggressive with corner setups. After scoring a knockdown, have ken block a string on wakeup to charge SA3, cancel into SA3 and go for 3 hits and stun, 2 hits also good since ken would be pixels away from stun and still in the corner.

Hahahah you're telling VALLE how to play Ryu? He is called the "Denjinless Ryu", but it works for him, he wins. You have no idea how much he knows about Ryu, the range and all that jazz. You shouldnt tell one of the best Ryu players how to play.

Clearly in that video he could have used denjin better. I also use Ryu but my main is SA3 Ryu for years now. I've played him and he's schooled me, but he doesn't use denjin as well as he should. Just saying cause there's more potential to his denjin ryu. Yeah I have an idea how much he knows about Ryu and it would be pretty sad if alex valle is unable to accept any sort of criticism just because he's "Mr. Street Fighter".

That may have been my favourite FFA vid of all-time. I hope there's more on the way. The sequence right after the Denjin parry (4:00) is top drawer. Hebrew celebrations was a new all-time high for Rock, I was on the floor laughing.

Whether he meant to or not, that was a sweet taunt by Ed. If you're going to slip a taunt in mid-battle, crossing up and faking strong-fierce and taunting instead is sneaky. Block low for life right?

Since I was sitting right next to the players when this was being run, I will add that Ed's taunts, during those times in the middle of a combo, were unintentional. His reaction was definitely one of "What the hell?!" whenever it happened.
