Argh what is wrong with all you girls with the Konad special polish!!! NEVER use it as a regular nail polish it is especially formulated to use with the stamp and sponge. The formular is made thicker so that it does not dry as quickly as regular polish, it can damage the nails far more than normal polish. THIS IS STATED ON THE PACKAGING!!!

You don't need konad to do the stampong part though, just buy sponges (f.ex make up sponges) and use regular anil polish :)

very nice design, i am thinking of replicating this look. :) my only complaint is that you should have started from the purple nail polish base then go step by step. also place your nails closer to camera cause it was very hard to see which paint/print was added to what part of the nail (esp. after you finish one step). Other than that, very very pretty design. Hope you do more!!!

I had it at school for 5 years, and it's 2 years since that. I know the s sometimes is in the wrong places (it's because we have an opposite use of it in Norway), but I'm always trying to get it right ;)

Uhm, i have Konad. I love it. But I dont have this one. This one works great. But u dnt have to buy it. You can ask your mum for a sponge. A soft one. And put your polish on it. :P It works fine by me. But i think this works better. I make a tutorial about the sponge what I use, if that's fine with u :P

I have Konads stamp plates but not the sponge and I learned a trick to keep your designs from smearing from a regular base coat. You run your fingers under cold water as long as you can stand it for 30-60 seconds. Then polish your nails with any kind of base coat instead of spending $8 or $9 for bottle of special clear polish. Also the Konads sponge art cost too much. Very disappointing.

I damp the sponge in nail polish remover, get a paper towel and squeeze the sponge into the towel to take the excess of remover, I also do like small strokes with the sponge in the towel to remove the polish until everything is clear, it feels soft when is dampen but once it dries is kind of rough again!

Do you always put clear coat before the stamp? Can I do it without it?

In this particular technique yes! because the polish is kind of thick and it doesn't dry fast when you apply it like this, and to stamp the surface has to be dry.

Thank you! No it doesn't feel thick since you are not applying a coat, is just what you get in the tip, you barely have product, and by distributing it in the whole nail is not thick + the sponge kind of removes when you stipple, I don't know if it makes sense but that's the way it is!
