Amazing Piano Composition/Song (Original Music)

i find that if you add depth in the bass by alternation it helps a lot ,maybe if you slow the bass down it'll sound better

Not entirely awful. MrToiletClogger is right, though. It just seems to lack emotion. I blame the keyboard, but there's also no... flow to it, I guess. Hard to describe. It's too mechanic. Not bad, if you're a beginner.

Thanks. Yea I agree. My original title is actually called Journey! lol! However, I am mainly looking for adjectives that accurately describe the song and at the same time attract peoples attention. People look at the key words rather than the name of the song (If it is original).

Hi Derek, nice job, have you ever thought about investing in a better keyboard, one that is touch sensitive? I hook my MIDI keyboard up to my computer and run a soft synth piano. The sound quality is much better than you would get on a standard keyboard and much more expressive. Keep at it!

Thanks. It can be set to be touch sensitive but it just seems to make it worse. I am getting a piano soon, and I would like to record it on a real piano for the reasons you have already outlined.

Nice composition, great job on the chords too, when I play piano myself (my compositions were made on the pc), I find it hard playing both hands, so the pc just is better to me =P

Thanks for the positive feedback - I would like to know more about mixing music etc... I think that as long as you have the music in your head and how the different instruments go together you can write good music without having to know how to play any instruments
