Hanging from the ceiling is Native American hand painted, what seems to be a wing. Can anyone offer more insight as to what these are called? Thank you.

@barretoo7 thanks - it was very interesting to get access to the Eames House, which is actually not an opportunity any more. Only because we insisted - coming all the way from Copenhagen to see it, we were invited in. We are so greatful for that.
It's amazing how much the everyday lives of millions of Americans were touched by the design elements invented by these two, from small schoolchildren to the relaxing workaday man or woman, from elementary architectural DNA itself to artistic endeavors that speak as a core code and structure.
