  • how long are the strips

  • it looks very nice at the end.... but how big of a paper do you need to get to 100cm? :O i would like to try it... but like i sed in my last comment i need some other help too.

  • @drifting101lol u can do a smaller version of 50 cm :-)

  • @RanDomGirL2632 thnx, so i need my width to me .5 cm? half a centimeter? ok, thanx!

  • @drifting101lol no prob :) and yes it need 5cm

    :-D

  • ... how do you know where to make single double triple and so forth knots? as in what section you're supposed to start the first knot???

  • looks very hard but ill try it

  • this is simply incredible^-^ ilove this :)

if ican find strip paper im so making this

  • took about 3hrs but i did it...

  • Good job! :D I am too lazy to make it... But I will!

  • what's the length and the width of the paper supposed to be?

  • width= anything. length= circle =70x w and star = 100x w

  • sooooooooooo hardddddddddddddd

  • Please carry out nearer takings to their hands to be able to appreciate the form better of carrying out the knots. to publish a precrease of the ribbon with the cuffs.

    Thank you

  • This model is really cool!! Looks very complicated too! The video is very good! I will try folding this model sometime soon...

  • cool

  • oh and how long is the smaller strip to connect the star modules or w/e? (sorry i dont really pay attention much to what they're called :))

  • umm im not sure if you've seen it before but.. have you ever soon those kinda "inflatable stars" made from strips of paper? if you've seen it, would those work for this?

  • The Strobls Rulez in this world!!!

    I'm an Strobl too!

  • THANKS!!

  • This sphere is so cool.

    Anyhow.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see how you get the angle right on that very first fold - obviously there's some way of getting it right that doesn't involve guesswork, but I'll be darned if I can figure out what it is.

By the way, I've already looked at the diagrams on Orihouse. I still don't get how it's done or how to align the strip or anything.

    Any hints? Please?

  • The video would of been more helpful if the portions of the strips were known. That is so the person building their own won't have to use the same exact size stripes of paper; making a smaller or larger ball.

  • the proportions of the strips are 1:100 for a star unit. it's in the diagram link in the description

  • I add more paper to the end of the strip by using glue, since there are no diagrams to show how to add more paper by folding.you video is almost imposible to follow

  • the problem is when your strip of paper ends.you add another one by folding tactics.however there are no diagrams available to show how that is done.on your video you flip the paper around so many times one can hardly make out what is going on.

  • ich werd verrückt... ich schaff es einfach nicht :-/

  • you make it look so easy! it looks like the hardest part would be cutting the paper! haha nice video, i actually watched it all. that hardly ever happens.

  • this is cool. where do u learn all this stuff?

  • The Internet, you can find everything on it.

  • I love origami, but i have never tried this type, I would love to start it out, do you have some detailed instructions on your site?

  • It's great! :P Where did you get the diagramm from?

  • Check my site, I can't post link here for some reason: orgiaminut dot com.

  • i think thats cool but im to lazy too

  • wait, so how long is it?

  • 1 thing I hate about sripfolding is to get al the strips cut right...

  • I used 5mm lined paper and cut 1cm width strips, just use the lines.

  • to lazy xD

  • whew! 1st view first comment!!
