What engine would you like to fit? I think that 150 Jawa/CZ engine is bit small for this 350's frame. Perak 250, or Jawa 353, 354 should fit the frame without big problems. My favourite engine from Jawa is 623 engine (2-cylinder 250), but probably is too new for your bike :-)

Hi , Thank's for your comment . I agree the 150 would be a bit small. the ideal engine would be a single cylinder twin exhaust port . that way i could have the twin exhaust's. I did think a jawa twin like you say . but at the moment im thinking a single cylinder. i'll check out the 632 to see if it's tempting me. Cheer's . Terry.

If you want single engine with twin exhausts then I thing that the best choise Jawa 559 (it is newer engine, has 3 bearings on crankshaft) and the bore can be extended up to 70 mm (the MZ 250 piston fits well :-)) so it will be 290 cmm. It runs very well jawacz estranky cz

This is great Terry !Didn`t realize the black tubes were added by you until you pointed them out ! Would the shock be going underneath the chassis by any chance ? Hi ya , Billy . The shock's won't be under the bike. . You'll see soon. But ive done some test's and a seconhand monoshock is the answer. I thought it might be though . I have got a carb rubber. it's off a 1991 T.S. 350 If you can find out if it will do . I'll post it out to you. Try . Mick Berril's Jawa spare's . he may be able to tell you if the rubber will fit your 634. Cheer's Billy.

Hi Terry Just to make it diferent I would go for an mz five speed a bit more power and a single exhaust if you get a etz engine it has electronic ignition which would give you reliability .you would get old style to go with the frame.good luck mate Ray

Hi Ray . I think you're right . I'll make it an M.Z. 5 speed It sound's like the best idea. And ive wanted an M.Z for a while. The other thing is , Ive had some fork's given to me . Well i swapped them for a jawa tank in had lying around. And there off a 250 trophy . Not sure if an 18 inch rim will clear the mudguard , but i'll check them out. . So everything is looking M.Z. . Hi Ray. I'de like a C.Z. twin exhaust port . But i don't think that will happen. So i'll be looking for a C.Z. single i think. But if i came across say a 250 perak engine i'de change it over from a 175. I was going to use M.Z 250 or 301 , but i thought i'de keep it C.Z. What do you reckon ? Terry.

Thank's . Yeah you're right. It's close . So what im doing is setting some mock suspension up on it at the moment . So i can make my calculations. When i lift the back wheel up as far as it will go it touches the back of the seat , so it look's promising. We'll find out soon . Cheer's terry.

My one question my friend, is where are you going to get that cool , chrome , classic , totally beautiful gas tank for the bike? Over here in the states , that is the hardest thing to find for old bikes. I can just picture that CZ in my mind as you work towards finishing this wonderful project. THose are cool tattoos too. I am thinking of getting a DioSpeedDemon above a superman emblem on my arm. All the best my friend. Randy

yeah, no problem. I race / repair bikes for years and if you have any problem just send me a message or do a video and send it to me.

Hi Randy , My focus is to style the project on that C.Z. 350 Limited edition . Some features on the build will be different , Such as the swingarm . The original is hardtail , so there's one difference. But the style must be the same . I could maybe get a similar style tank and do the cosmetic's on it. And another difference is the engine . I car'nt get original so im going to try and get a twin exhaust port single so i can have those nice twin exhaust's. It'll be as close as possible.. Terry

Wow :) Very nice, but I have a few questions, where will the dampers go? (Softails have them, don't they? :) ) and what about the airbox, or you're going to use cone filter? It causes trouble when it starts to rain heavily and you have to use proper jets beacuse the intake has different restriction to the air. And the last thought, about the toolbox - It seems that it'll be really tight fit because of the nearby chain... But it looks great, that's for sure :)

Hi , The damper's will be revealed in part 4 . The tool box only goes as deep as the original part of the swingarm . The left side is deeper . I'll use either one for electric's . I'll decide on air filter when i see which carb im using . Maybe pipercross with stainless cover . That's what i normaly use . Any answer's i give now may change during build , From experience plan's develop into better idea's so it's best to take one job at a time. Cheer's Terry.

Hi , As im only building around the original swingarm ive used a seamed tube 1.5mm with a higher carbon content than you would use if you were say building one from scratch , Then i'de use a cold drawn seamless tube. Good comment i may make a point about this in future film. Cheer's Terry.

my friend is doing a restauration on his grandpahs mz250.

it isnt been used for years and now he got the licence for driving it and he started to restore it.

whell its his mz but im working on the engine, and he works the paint, wheels and seat. So the engine is in good condition, only carbon deporits that i removed, and the carbs need new gaskets beacuse they dried out and broke. And the bike is just in really a great condition. It was only driven for 3200km and its practicly brand new =D
