yea unicorn is cool although i can pretty much run faster than any horse in game so horses are kinda pointless to me but i like the unicorn look i just used console commands to own it. also dual weild looks cool but can you attack with both?

Uh huh I hate to break it to you but the unicorn is NOT a mod and you did not create it. There is 1 unicorn in the entire game and its in the area where you make your mages staff in the Mages guild chain. And yes you can ride it. I'm not calling you a lair, you could have spawned it but as to making it yourself, just not true.

I found the unicorn in a forest north-west (Harcane Grove) of Bravil, it was surounded by 3 Minotaurs. It's also the goal (well, the horn is) of Hircine's deadric shrine quest. Cool "horse" to ride, attacks like a mad puppy.

I played both of the games FO 3 and Oblivion..... Have to say that it was fun it would be fun for me to play..... them both again to explore stuff but my pc cant handle it my newest graphic card wont allow me to boot when i have it on.

I have both Morrowind and Oblivion but i'm still in the beginning , even if i've spent a demential amount of hours reading part of the lore books in the games. I wish to know if it's possible to create an omnipotent character (a character that can do everything) or, like in Fallout 3,i'll be forced to choose a build because of a level cap (and 20 as max lvl in F3 was ridicolous).

Bethesda's unicorn has different posture, a different texture, it's larger, and attacks you on sight. It cannot be used as a mount. As far as I know, they never released an official mod for a rideable unicorn.

Morrowind was a really sad game to play.. Its far to old to be compared to Oblivion which is today a great game. People said that if I liked Oblivion I should buy Morrowind which was rather dissapointing.

In today's standards Oblivion is awesome. But what many don't realize is that these standards we're lowered since 2001 when Morrowind threw them up 3 notches. And you also have to realize the time difference to the fact that Morrowind was a hit game in 2001 just as Oblivion was in 2006.

But above there has been thousands of unpaid man hours fixing this game. Install all the right mods and you've killed Oblivion. At least I sure think so.

I agree. Morrowind was good, just as Oblivion is today. I respect the fact that it has qualities that you can't argue with. But if I had to choose one of the games to play to this day, I would've chosen Oblivion. And that's what I'm saying. Not that Morrowind is a gad game, because it isn't:)

I would most likely buy a copy of Oblivion today too. Even if Morrowind is my all-time favorite game. With the modding power at the TES IV: CS it can easily knock out Morrowind. But I always like to put the biggest difference between the two into the playing field. Oblivion was bred for combat, Morrowind was bred for exploration. If you do research on gameplay aspects of each game, you will no doubt notice it.

Oblivion IS a nice game, btw. But It isn't even getting on for being as good as the IE games. Perhaps everyone (including me) shouldn't exaggerate so much. I like Bethesda's games but they're so full of flaws it's unbelieveable. Black Isle Studios made the best RPGs (imo). :)

It's a real shame because you look at both Morrowind (which is in some ways better than Oblivion) and Oblivion and you think : if only they could have done this or that (the list of things is endless). Ultimately Oblivion is a poor GAME, despite the fact that it's endlessly entertaining to take a wander around its world and pick a few flowers, make a few potions etc. I can't believe that Bethesda didn't learn from the failures of Morrowind.

What exactly is wrong with these games that can't be fixed by sliding the difficulty slightly as you progress while in non-dungeon areas(to the right in Morrowind and to the left in Oblivion)? You see the game's flaws because you're probably smarter than the average bear zarakhast but don't call it poor when the ummodded game itself offers solutions.

Great world to wander about in but ultimately a failure as a game, for multiple reasons. For a start : the rules governing character development don't work properly, though they're innovative. Proper D&D rules (Gary Gygax) work far better. Second, NPCs and locations are so generic : every Oblivion gate is constructed in the same way as every other - and that applies also to Aeleid ruins, Forts etc. Third, the quality of the dialogue is terrible throughout (no change from Morrowind). Etcetera ..

it isnt really all that good as oblivion with no expansions, it's good if you've completed everything and nothign to do though. Nights of the nine is really good, you get both on game of the year edition in the black case. I baught it obtober last year with the game of the year edition. It's really cool, tells you everythin in the book. Me and my brother call it the bible lol.
