  • Mastercool is the core of all rebranded tool set of all maker/tool company/provider

  • lololololol "so you pump it in till it stops.... that does sound a little dirty doesn't it... so....."

  • Thanks for the vidieo, an expensive tool i wish i could justify buying it but i will only need it once every few years lol... Anyways i saw your buddys vidieo, i think hes a carpenter also judging by his hammer lol

  • I own this same tool made by Mastercool. Expensive but well made. Got tired of breaking the cheap dies found in those tools sold at autozone and the like. Just remember to check the type of flare you are replacing. Some are ISO bubble and some are 45 deg double. Even on the same vehicle. Just like some bolts are metric and some are ASE on the same part no less. (89 Grand Marquis oil pan) as a example. Buy American!

  • Is that the Matco set?

  • @Raven60618 No, I got mine fromSnap-On, Blue Point brand. I beleive Matco has the same one, as does Mac. I beleive Master Cool is the actual manufacturer. In any case, it is an exellent tool.

  • super!!! (very good!!)

  • Actually, it isn't too bad. I've flared lines on vehicle with it many times. I will admit, in an extremely tight situation. I usually remove the line from the vehicle and flare it that way than try to do it on the car. Even with the old style manual flaring tool (shown in the first vid) trying to work in a tight spot would be difficult.

  • @Longbox55 Thanks LB55 for taking your & sharing your knowlege on this important subject. Great to hear it from a master wrench who has no doubt accomplished many quality repairs over the years . You may even be saving lives if you convince even one rookie to do it correctly and never hack it with a compression fitting on hydraulic brake lines.

  • that tool looks rather ackward (suppose you're working in a tight confine, that nightstick won't give), otherwise great instruction!
