I can honestly say that

gen 1 was classic and gives you that epic feeling

gen 2 was a great addition considering it helped create new pokemon

gen 3 had the best music in my opinion and had the best plot

gen 4 also had some of the best music and had the coolest evil villain and legendary pokemon

gen 5 is very new and hard to get used to but once you do it is great and has the best graphics and starters in my opinion

i conclude that all generations were great but the new anime is shit..... lmfao

My first game was LeafGreen, followed by Emerald. In my opinion, I like Gen III just a HINT better than Gen I, if only for having Ralts and Jirachi (my 2 favs). But in reality, I love ALL of them. These wars are STUPID. Sure, Gen V may have a few mons that suck, but so did Gen I. All have positive as well as negative, so take of the nostalgia glasses and sit down, shut up, and listen to damn good music!

I played ever since Gold and Crystal, but I bought Red after that. I was infected with Pokemon Fever from age 5 and I bought each and every generation game. I got Black, then realized most of the shapes were simply recycled from older generations. I'm trying to find the right words for this...It's like the first 4 generations had Pokemon that had a basis to them, and looked good to the eye. Generation 5 was simply...awry. The shapes were strange and different. I don't mean to be rude.

Lucario won't be back..pikachu will be back, but Jigglypuff may be replaced by some other pokemon, probably a Hoenn pokemon, or Audino. I'm assumeing the latter but Zoroark being the 4th game is automatic assumption which is pretty much 85% correct.

Arceus is ruler of the cosmos, a reference to heaven, to oppose the opposite force, Giratina, refencing "the underworld". supposedly, the world was affected by Groudon and Kyogre as Raquaza looked over them, but it is unknown what "created the world"

@Andrew42143 I actually agree. Some of the Pokemon there were good though, but some others looked like inferior copies of earlier generations. It's the names of most of the new Pokemon I don't like though (there are some exceptions, like Zoroark, Sandile, Snivy, Zekrom...) And they could at least have kept Generation 1 in U-nOva...

Tepig was a disappointment; its evolved forms were just more Fighting-types which cliched from Gen 3 & 4 (I thought Gen 5 would be a Ground-type.) @youcouldbeme2020 snivy is best because it is well-balanced in all areas. one specific trump card is Leech Seed, which is a demonic move against stronger enemies that would otherwise be too hard to beat. Grass isnt as vulnerable as other starter elements because it can easilly be covered. the HP-related attacks add a huge boost to usefulness, they dont use many physical attacks which make the physical-contact effects a moot point, and those evil caves (water and rock/ground) can be torn apart

@Andrew42143 Yes and no. Sure there were some bad designs, but there are bad designs from all 5 Generations. The good designs outnumber the bad designs in my opinion. Of course, it is harder to make new designs after 649 Pokemon. Plus Reshiram and Zekrom are well thought of after a God Pokemon (Arceus).

I have to say the Legendaries and the Dragons were pretty decent though. The evil team is slightly more inventive than the past times, and the music is good but overall I prefer gen 1-4 better, mainly gen 3

However, it sucked after defeatng N because then you end up thinking, "now what". I thought it was a pretty good expiremental game for future generations, and it is one of my favorites. Diamond and Pearl set a pretty high standard after all.

Even if all the "But people and Pokemon help each other! *sob*" stuff got a bit annoying. xD

And the music was AWESOME. And some of the Pokemon were great (Haxorus and Hydreigon O.O). And some were dire. But that's the same for every gen (Jynx anyone? *shudder*)

Overall, Gen V is my favourite since Gen II. :D

I remember when I was trying to capture Dialga and I only had one more Pokeball left. My friends were gathering me and watching... As I clicked on the Pokeball... All my friends pushed the A button all at once. The Pokeball shook a few times, and my friends gasped and my made shrieking noises. Then it shook for the third time, and we all push the button so hard, that I thought we were going to break my DS. Then It made a click noise and everyone cheered!
