Just a note: this is an increase, also called KRL (knit right loop) and Cat Bordhi calls it LRinc (lifted right increase). It is NOT the K1b stitch used in the Knit 1 below technique, which is not an increase at all but a form of brioche.
@sameknit This was the way K1B was described in a specific pattern that one of my knitting buddies was working on at our weekly knitting group. She was having a hard time getting the hang of it and was worried that she wouldn't remember how to do it once she got home, so I recorded it and posted it to YouTube for her to reference it as needed. Didn't realize I would end up with so many views. In any case, I hope your comment is helpful to anyone looking to do the K1B.
Heartfelt thanks to you! I looked through a bunch of webpages and even books on doing the k1b stitch--I never understood it correctly until this! Yay! :)
That was inappropriate and hurtful. I'm curious as to why you would say that to a complete stranger. More importantly, I'm wondering if you treat random people you meet in public in the same manner. If your answer is no, maybe you should think about why you would do it on the web.
Did your comment have a point? Or are you just uncivilized?

Wouldn't it have made more sense to comment on that video instead of on this one?
