Wild Arms 2 2nd Opening

I like the US opening better because of that last shot of Marina at the well. I also prefer that song over this song.

But that being said, this opening shows a lot of characters that don't get an appearance in the US opening, so ehhh... I guess I think they're both flawed.

though some of the dialog seemed downright ridiculous in the english translation especialy Liz and Ards lines. i blame morons who dont know how to translate properly. still a kickass game though

No, Japanese vr. is better. Its the fucken original to begin with. The americunts just took off the vocal for whatever reason. They probably managed to reach the conclusion that the song was somehow racist or anti-americunt, typical.

god.. it pains me the instrumentals (excluding the voice) are what made the opening themes so grand and just made me oh my god and get all giddy inside and say i want to play this game all day .thats how all openings should be

they need to give the gamer a sense of "wow im so happy to play this game" or just invoke good feelings. you might say the opening theme may not be that important

but i feel it sort of is, good opening themese leave an impression

Ok, I retract my earlier statement. Both the english and japanese edits of this song have versions with the long sax segments taken out.

The whole reason this song was good, was because of the great saxophone (well it sounds like a sax) segments. The vocals in this version completely overlap and replace those segments making this whole melody completely and utterly like every other average Japanese pop song out there.

I don't remember really what the American version of this opening was like, but I do remember that it flowed much better than this one. It's the music, it doesn't feel like it matches up with the images that accompany it, which is surprising as usually the Japanese are great at that sort of stuff.
