  • А эту дорогу уже легковушка проехала!)))))

  • Of course not, it would require precious alloy's for that application. Which would make the vehicle very very pricey.

Thats why ford doesn't want to put a independant suspension on the mustang. It would cost to much and would make the mustang in the price range of a corvette.

Some MB vehicles, Rolls Royce and maybe bentley have aluminum suspension. RR is a 6500lbs+ vehicle, seems to be holding up nicely with it.

  • Well mr. mechanical engineering major you should also notice that he was just going through mud puddles. Most off road racers in vehicles that compete in baja use alumium suspension components. Running through a couple puddles that are only a inch deep won't ruin anyones suspension. I am also certain Nissan Engineers used a alloy that was able to tolerate years of use in the infiniti. Probably why you don't work for them because in your world everything would be steel. You must be a Ford guy.

  • @NutStretcher No, I'm a nissan fan in an out. The engineers intended the Fx for only on road use. That is why it is based off a modified FM platform (ie. G35, Z, M etc...). It is not designed to handle off road. Okay you win that this is only mud so it isn't that stress ful but even the awd is not design for this kind of stuff. It is a viscous limited slip so sometimes, only two wheels are spinning. If you want to offroad, take the new QX out since it's based off the patrol, a great offroader.

  • @NutStretcher Man, that's a hard blow calling me a ford guy. :( I love light weight components. I was only trying

to prove a point. the alloy they use in most cars is not exactly Offroad strong. It's performance on road strong. In Engineering, you find the strongest metal that is lightweight and cheap and that is why the majority of auto companies use it for there dedicated Suvs but luxury auto makers will use aluminum in some parts like the control arms and what not. The chassis is still steel.

  • @dukviper90 Is this not exactly what I just said????? The guy wasn't dune jumping he just drove through a mud puddle. Im pretty sure his suspension can handle that. Im pretty sure that is what my last comment said, I am not trying to bash you. You seem like a decent guy and smart enough to read a comment without taking it so personal. THUMBS UP!

  • @NutStretcher yea but remember, you won't find aluminum in the suspension under a qx56 or lx570. Both very offroad capable with suspension that are very strong made from high tensile steel. Maybe the new QX is different.

  • i would never venture far from the Road in an Infiniti FX....even with AWD these vehicles wern't intended for off roading.

  • @form109 Yeah, I guess the tires have nothing to do with it's off road ability, too.

  • can't believe you guy are taking an FX with an aluminum suspension off the road...

Hat's off to you, but don't break it.

  • @dukviper90 You think it would break because its aluminum???? Good think you don't design and build anything...

  • @NutStretcher Are you kidding me? Why do you think they don't use aluminum in most offroad capable suv's? Steel alloys are stronger then aluminum alloy. I'm a mechanical engineering major. That doesn't mean there isn't an aluminum alloy that is stronger than steel but for every aluminum alloy there is always a stronger steel alloy and most times when you have an aluminum that is stronger than steel it is also much much more expensive than steels.

  • нашли лужу

  • Серьезно? Тут есть подобные видео про кашкай. Так вот кашкай проезжает милипиз*рические лужи с большей охотой чем этот Финик)))

  • Настоящий джип и это не обсуждается

  • holy shit that guy can run fast

  • NOOOPE. The AWD fx should have a SNOW button to put the vehicle in AWD mode, if left off then the vehicle will only send power to the rear wheels and up to 50% to the front when needed. Oh and please dont call this sports crossover a truck. I mean it is based on the 350Z....

  • @f22mp37 i'm pretty sure it's base don the G35, not the 350...

  • @chemao1978 no its the 350

  • @buddsta05 Guess you fell for it. It's based on both, since they both use the same chassis.

  • @chemao1978 yeah....they're built on a Nissan FM platform...which is shared with quite a few Nissan Models.

  • @form109 The whole infiniti Lineup.

  • @dukviper90 all except the QX.

  • @form109 Man, I forgot that existed. Love the new ones.

  • how can i know the fx35 im gonna buy is AWD ?

  • @moeundertaker all Infiniti vehicles with an "X" in the name are part time all wheel drive. No inifiniti cars are permanently all wheel drive, they are all rear wheel drive until it loses traction, or you set it to AWD mode.

  • Love this truck!

  • @MrMarioIran since when its a truck?:)

  • @MrMarioIran how is this a truck...

  • I wonder how it would look with some R15 agressive thread tires...mmm

  • Данное видео лишний раз иллюстрирует принцип бытия в наше стране "Денгьи есть-ума не надо"! На хрена по такой жиже лазить на инфинити,надо было что-нибудь по дороже загнать в болото!

  • not bad for a sport suv. infiniti has good awd
