Then the police arrived at mom & dad's house and told them you left us that morning after your 37th birthday .Mom collapsed in dad's arms after the officer told the news. This song makes me want to understand your sadness & why you did this.

This year on September 22, 2010 we celebrated our Marine's 23rd Birthday, God allowed my Son to return to us when so many never will. I think of this song and the words and know that my Son would not want to know if he wasn't going to make it out of there alive.

Consider yourself fortunate, I lost my Daddy in 1971 & I miss him every single day of my life, especially Father's Day, his birthday, Pearl Harbor, he served the military all his adult life and died six months afte they finally let him retire. He was THE ONLY PERSON who ever truely loved me, I was his baby girl, I hate living without him.
