  • thumbs up if you saw this video after reading the introduction from the 4 hour workweek xD

  • If you understand dance, you'd understand that you always make the girl do most the work, you just lead her. Same in life :P

  • Steward from GWW is awesome! :D

  • starts at 4:00

  • He is the most interesting man in the world : Tim Ferriss

  • would someone please feed that woman?

  • Cool...I like his book the 4hr body it's great and I'm losing weight pretty fast...this guy is so multifaceted and talented it's so redunkuless Go Tim and Alicia!

  • What's the point of this?......It would've served Tango a lot better if he had danced a piece with his lovely partner. Maybe he only perfected the spin. And who's the dude with the ridiculous shirt sleeves? That has nothing to do with Tango. Tango is from the River Plate region of Sth America NOT Cuba!!

  • does Tango always lack eye contact like this?

  • Is that Wilmer Valderrama dancing with Kelly Ripa??

  • My name is Bond, Timothy Ferriss Bond. Finally get to see this tango world record after all these years of hearing about it! The dude is a freak of nature!

  • wtf that means? do something serious please, thankx!

  • That seemed easy...seemed. easy.

  • Donde fue campeon de tango argentino...en Buenos Aires (Mundial de Tango OFICIAL...no fue...)

  • i don't understand any of the hate coming towards him. sure, it's NOT the hardest thing in the world, but still, most people can't do what he did here. but, like he himself said, he saw an opportunity to set a guinness record and took it. most of the guinness records are bullshit anyway (e.g. the number of eggs you can break with your head in 1 minute, WTF). he's a driven and smart guy, and he did what nobody else decided to do, so good for him.

  • Erm... wtf... I could defo move faster than that, I'm looking into this. Looks to simple.

  • No kelly, they want to sent a new record not a new guiness book of world records

  • Tim is the closest thing to James Bond I've seen in popular media.

  • haha quelle merde!

  • I'm guessing in Latin America they couldn't give a shit about guiness world records in tango. It's more art then that.

  • Dude, they messed up his name, BIG TIME.

  • OK, I'm a complete dummy when it comes to Tango. Also, I like Tim and this is why I watched this video, but really Alicia was doing all the work here not him...I guess he was using his 4 hr philosophy here as well..

  • @karawmak Technically they are working together. It just looks like she is doing all of the work. In that particular movement the woman gives the man a bit of assistance with momentum and keeping the beat, but to do those turns correctly you must be able to do them independently without a partner to do do them well with a partner.

  • @karawmak No, it MAY only seem so. Man i guiding in tango, woman is doing what he commands... But she catches all attention (almost all), as she is like a doll at his expert hands. This dance requires much more from a man than from a lady. I did tango for only two years, but seen lots of great teachers / masters at their conferences.

P.S. I like Tim - he is very talented at many things, amazing!

  • @karawmak in the argentine tango the man does not do a lot - its all about showing off the woman. Same with salsa!

  • @karawmak In Tango, the guys barely have to do anything. His form is actually quite good: look at his pivots and foot-work. Certainly not bad!

  • @karawmak I'm not an argentine tango guy but I do ballroom dancing. If physics works the same way in both styles (which it should), Tim is actually generating most of the power by counterbalancing Alicia. Alicia is actually pulled by Tim rather than Tim being pushed by Alicia.

  • Tim Ferriss an idiot. He earns $400,000 a year doing 4hr of work a week (excluding book sales etc). Has been world champion at Argentine Tango and holds various records. Was a kick boxing champion. Best selling author. The list goes on. So you judge him as an idiot what have you done that makes you so great? Blimey... you could be my new hero.

  • yeah, fuck those assholes!

  • @cutis1000 you might want to read past the first four words of what I wrote! Its quite obvious I'm not calling him an idiot.

  • @Reddogzzzz The man is anything but an idiot. Misleading... probably, yes.

  • Hi @w0rdisbond think you need to read the complete comment. The first four words are very sarcastic. Far from being an idiot he is quite the genius at what he does.

  • Comment removed

  • @Reddogzzzz Thats what Im saying, hes using his wits to mislead people like me to buy his shit!

  • Ok @w0rdisbond I see. Pity really as I've got both his books and when I actually do what he suggests. It works. Very much changed the way I work and run my business and also I put on muscle and lost weight quite easy as well... even if I don't stick as ridged to the rules as I could. I find this is like many self-help type things... buying the book on its own does not lead to success ;)

  • @Reddogzzzz Ive bought 4HB, I did the geek-to-freak workout for a long time before I bought it, but where are all the people putting on all of this muscle weight?! You cant find them.

The maximum strength workout was better, It felt good, but a little dangerous when your lifting that close to your maximum, and so I dont find it sustainable either, or atleast not as beneficial as the Bruce Lee 20-minute strength-and-shape routine, I feel like a 12 year old, I feel so fresh =D

  • WOW i need to find me an obscure record to break, lol. It looks easy to break such a record.

  • It's actually FAR harder than it looks. One must keep their balance and not get dizzy (and fall over) PLUS perform each spin without messing up and getting tangled with your partner.

  • lol the giros are actually getting very messy... she is almost running around him, not precise, not elegant.

  • Wilmer's a disgrace to Latin people.

  • Why is that?

  • jajajajaj que gilada!

  • Did he just screw up about the 1994 part... in 94, he'd be in High School if he's just 30 now...

  • Tim Ferrioss?

  • Yeah, WTF mate?

  • I don't think so. I met Tim years ago and he is one driven SOB.

  • Did you leave the country in 1994 or 2004?

  • argentinians are a lot better in tango

  • LoL it IS the easiest world record to break, but who knows how to tango??

  • This is NOT a record. How the hell did you manage to con your way onto national tv...

  • That has to be the easiest world record to break. They look so SLOW!

  • And which record did you break?

  • Actually, I broke the World Record for the most throws broken on Tekken 5 consecutively. The record was previously held by 'M4' who broke 777 throws and I broke the record when I hit 1,212 with a percentage of 96.04% and a max streak of 160. I'm just saying, this world record doesn't LOOK very hard. I don't have anything about tango, but why did I get a -1 comment and someone saying the same thing got a +3?

  • dull I'm afraid.

  • First of all it's Tango not Babalu. So off with the stupid costume and get serious. After all it is Tango. Kelly and sidekick look utterly ridiculous.

  • huh?
