Purity of race (stock) unites elitists. They are fabulists who procreate within a restrictive gene pool. Europe's gentry intermarried for centuries in order to further the cause of racial vigor, cleansing & purity. The result, of course, was madness, Mongoloidism & hemophilia.
Actually he's got a point. Find a massive social disaster anywhere in the world and it's almost certainly the result of the politicial theories espoused in a major university. Yale's a particular offender as shown by most of US foreign policy. Of course this isn't what he means.
I wish I could explain things as eloquently as Thunderf00t. Many of the things he says are what I've thought for years, but can't articulate as well as he does. Thanks for being the one to spread the common sense, Thunderf00t.
I think that many religious people have mistaken the scientific community's attempt to stop religion from impeding the advancement of science as an assault on religion as a whole. They are reacting out of the mistaken fear that a goal of science is to destroy religion. This misunderstanding has condemned us to a purgatory of having to continually repeat an obsolete argument.
@CalifaJohn The christains believe that any theory or scientific fact that doesn't concede with their believe is an assault. The reason people react so so negatively to them is because of their assault on some peoples belief that they have the right not to believe. Some christains believe that there should be no separation of church and state. They constantly try to use our legal system to tear down that wall. And most americans resent that.
I may have missed it but is there anything you can say to help contradict this belief that believing evolution leads to raceisim. I could but I don't have nearly as much atention as you do.
the reason why people say that, is because people misunderstand what Charles Darwin was saying in his book. they thought he was saying if one civilization is more advanced than another, then they have the right to use them, like an animal, or slave. what he was really talking about was if a species is more advanced, they have that right...i think...never read the book, saw a special presentation on the science channel...
yes mr video man there have been many new lights shed opon the whole subject and the more we learn the more we find we can do miracles of old are now everday events and one day when we master the human genome and can create life as we c fit we can look at the theory of man in a whole new light and maybe we will find out we do have a creator in the real sence but do you think man will be made aware of this fact on mass ???? i think not exsplain this and why the origins of race are not looked at?
It is frustrating, but it is a battle that MUST be fought, to educate these people with misguided beliefs about the world around them.
I have no problem with faith, it gives hope and purpose to millions of people who have very little else, there are plenty of things yet to be understood about the universe around us, but it is almost criminal how these people can believe that imprinting their own 'beliefs' onto other people is right. It is greedy, hypocritical, and in their own words, evil ;-)
