I hate when your tank goes into battle and the enemy tank manages to get the biggest fucking fluke shot that makes your whole tank explode.

Great use of the Sherman. Note, Attila wait for the M4A2. Which had a slightly better gun than the M4A1. The M4A2 can battle and win against Panzer 4G. While, the two Stugs were easy picking because both were engaging the M18. The Panzer 4Hs forced Attila to retreat. However, Attila's teammate brought out the M4A3E8 (Sherman with a long barrel 76mm) which can easily deal with Panzer 4H and Stug if use properly. Pershing meant the end for the other team. They had lost too many tanks and TDs.

Yes you can replaced the tanks if you have lots of mp points to purchase it. But you can also repair damage tanks (slight damage not hull damage) or take enemy tanks by killing its crew to save money from buying tanks.

It's a little known fact that Shermans worked perfectly well against Panzer IVs and StuGs (the tanks the German players were picking) at normal engagement ranges (whereas, as we all know, they could only penetrate Panthers and Tigers at very close range).

Umm... right... Disbelieve me all you like, but the fact remains that the Sherman was the equal of the German medium tanks and light assault guns (I.E. PIV and StuG), which were significantly more numerous than Panthers and Tigers ever were.

OMG! the idiot at the end gets a Nashorn! Nashorn vs. Pershing ? What are the odds of a Nashorn winning head-to-head. BTW, I once managed to destroy to Pershings using a Nashorn by ambushing them from the side.

And why don't they just send infantry to hide and take out ur precious tanks? Great playing with that Sherman, though.

Yeah but its not skirmish in a sense where you can choose the map and the opponent to go up against. And the ability to play with an ai ally might be nice. I said might because i don't really know what an ai vs ai battle in Men of War would look like.

Shermans are only good for a 1st surprise strike to the flank or rear of the enemy tank. If they miss that 1st shot they get toasted in my experience.

Beautiful Tank battle, Using a Sherman in this game is pretty risky as the armor penetration from it's 75mm is pretty bad.

@theBorderOfUnity Yeah but this vid is from the earlier version of the game when the M4A1 was actually worth buying. Then using same gun as the M4A2 which it also did in real life.

Right now the Shermans are kinda shitty, most decent players ignores em and go for light armor untill they can get a Hellcat/slugger or a Pershing.

Its really ashame, can't see why America could't have a decent early game tank.

MOW is a bitch. It's hard, and your ALWAYS out numbered I say 300 million to 1. Not to mention there aren't any scrimish modes. It's either all campaign or online play. HOWEVER, all the data, and game play is 100% accurate as to how real soldiers, tanks, mortars, etc would do in real life.

Where as COH is more take one tank and take on 100 people with power ups, etc. It depends on the style of game play you like.

@Chanak02 To me yes, to someone else it depends. I like realism and MOW adds that. Unfortunately, every mission is a stack, and it requires a lot of time, and patients. Which, if you like something like that than MOW is for you.

What I did was tired to COH demo on steam, and I found out it wasn't for me. That's how I came to my conclusion, that and I watched a lot of MOW videos where people who had the game recorded multiplayer eventss

@Berazarulez No game will ever truly be 100% accurate, maybe in the future. Personally, I've found the Axis has the strongest tanks, BUT a lot of things depend on strategy too. Hitting a tank in the front won't do nearly as much damage as if you were to hit it's engine (from behind) or a track. Though compared to many games I like it.

Also, to add to another comment of mine there is Order of War, if you've ever played a total war game it's kinda like that.

MOW allied tanks are overpowered while germans are underpowered (compared to ww2 reality)

if you cant flank it, you can shoot its frontal armour all day with almost no effect. on the other hand a tiger only has to hit you once...

German heavy tanks like the tiger or king tiger were engineering failures.VERY unrealiable. The panther on the other hand was one of the best tanks in the war, it inherited some features from the russian T34 which was probably the best medium tank of WWII.

allied forces suffered from the lack of heavy tanks at the beginning, but the sherman was a very good medium tank, people tend to compare it with heavy tanks, that's what makes it seem bad. But compare it to PzIV's...

idk how game play is for this game cuz ive never played it but people compare it to COH and the one thing I can say I like better inthis game over COH is the sound....that sherman sounds like its firing a cannon, COH it a low depressing thud sound. Same goes for the King Tiger and alot of stuff, guns sound prety lame imo
