  • Margaret Loesch who would later go on to become the president/creator of the 90's powerhouse, FOX KIDS Network.

  • They're not even sped up as heck like on the older Family Channel airings.

  • not sure sorry i recorded these logos during the 1980's

  • @phasicblu not shure about what?

  • This is from a Popeye cartoon, but which one?

  • I think "Popeye and Son".

  • actually, its the popeye and olive show.

  • No such title. I found out the REAL title and it's called "The All-New Popeye Hour".

  • In a fall 1981 CBS promo slick that I found on the Yahoo! group called Cartoon Promos, the title of this incarnation of the show was called "The Popeye and Olive Oyl Show" for the 1981-82 season.

  • It was at that time that Olive Oyl had her own little cartoon catoon slot during THE POPEYE AND OLIVE OYL SHOW. I think it was called Private Oyl and she was teamed up with Alice the Goon. It was a spoof of the movie and short lived sitcom PRIVATE BENJAMIN.

  • Yes, the non-punching H-B cartoons.

  • The All-New Popeye Hour is what it's called. Popeye and Son came out after that.

  • "Popeye and Son" didn't come along until around 1985 or 1986 at the earliest, which was also the same time it was the beginning of the period when H-B began making cartoons, featuring kiddy versions of their adult characters.

  • @megamanj2007 Right, HB started doing that after the success of Muppet Babies
