  • I've got a qeustion! I'm not a morning person so i just pour a bowl of ceral but it's almost impossible to find a good healthy bowl a ceral with some real protien in it.

  • @johnplayersstandard if you are looking for a good cereal then you should check out the organics section of your grocery store or trader joe's or whole foods. you can also take a protein shake in the morning. If you have any questions you should post them on my channel or videos cuz I answer subscriber questions in my fitness advice videos. I also have free fitness videos that will help you stay motivated, lose weight and get in shape! , so if you like them please sub and have a good one :)

  • I dont understand, top swimmers do a lot of cardio and have big muscles, look at guys doing 400meters or shorter distances. How do they build muscles?

  • @joseardzm they eat a ton and do weight training

  • @joseardzm As a swimmer, I can say that most of us don't grow relatively large muscles. We just have low %fat and lean muscle. Sometimes that fat difference gives a physical appearance of stronger muscle.

    Yeah, nahhh... Why bother working the most important muscle in the body, the heart. The lack of emphasis these guys put on cardio is kind of incredible

    You can do both, nutrition will help your muscles grow even with cardio. If you only have 20 minutes to exercise, you should do cardio. It is more important for your overall health than lifting weights.

  • @papaduck91 You really only burn muscle ie protein if you are out of glycogen and still doing high intensity short bursting activity because it's a faster pathway than fat burning for energy needed NOW. Otherwise, you just shrink the size of the muscle because glycogen takes up space and is the preferred fuel when doing high intensity. Cardio doesn't burn muscle unless you're exercising too much in general and not replacing it with nutrition and rest.

  • @jrg305 u only burn muscle if you are seriously depriving your body of energy and the nutrients it needs.... if anything short sptrings requiring 80% + of your MHR can actually be VERY anabolic and promote the release of growth hormones, of course high intensity interval cardio is not meant to be done for super long periods of time, 30 mins max as after that then you risk over training and promote your body break down muscle.

    What I do with cravings is I eat healthy, and then I eat like one coockie, or one spoon of ice cream or whatever I crave for, that way I feel full and the craving taste remains so in my mind I kind of ate a lot of junk but it was just a little :D

  • I heard hemorrhoid cream works great on tightening skin in small areas, like the under arm areas. I have seen this work for a few of the older women in my family when they lost a lot of weight. Also Vitamin K is supposed to help with skin elasticity.

  • You guys should really get a summer camp thing going for high schoolers and even some college students (people with the summer off). Charge a tuition and board the "campers." Feed, train, and educate them over like a 4 or 8-week period. The only reason I think it would work for you guys is because of your personalities. It would teach people the habits and workouts necessary to get healthy. Your videos are very helpful!

  • cottage cheese with peanut butter and a low gi fruit (apple, berries, etc..) for a night time snack and i GUARANTEE it will kill ANY craving for junk food you might have, the casein protein in the cottage cheese and the healthy peanut butter fat plus the fruit fiber and fructose will satisfy you, keep you in a fed state and will not add any unwanted size to your waistline

  • scott is right about te part where one might crave junk because they dont have enough fat in their diet, ever since i have added more healthy fats into my diets, such as nuts, supplementing with oils, eggs, etc... then i have not had a single craving for junk food in the last 6+ months

  • @mtril123456 Not really. You innervate different motor units when doing different exercises. For example: doing bodyweight dips on still rings in gymnastics and doing tricep exercises in the gym with a machine. Most people can't do 1 dip on the rings because of the different motor unit recruitment pattern required.

  • scott ive been working out consistently for the past two months. i gained some weight in the first month but stopped in the second. Im getting a lot stronger but not gaining!! Whats going on???!!
