never had this problem in my 1986 coupe quattro. can't wait for the winter to come so i can try out my new car in the snow.. 1996 A6 quattro avant 5 cylinder TDi . just hope the electronic diff locks work properly on it.
Turn off ESP...ESP is there so you dont lose control. Imagine driving down the highway, and just like that scenario, your left side hits an ice patch....If all the power automatically went to the right side for "grip", you'd skid and spin out of control. Thats why Audi says they have a safer technology. You can just turn it off if you want the wheels to grip.
