hellion sucks vs roches. Sige tanks are the worst vs vipers. We now own the hellion again. BTW, those warhounds are needed, if the spire is not seen, 10 mutas kill a terran. And vs toss, well, anti-mech should not be as good as anti armor, since the zelot is light, so the warhound is okay. Every mech is armored, and all structers.

They should let the siegetank transform into an uber siegetank with 300 range. Its annoying that you have to unsiege -> move to enemy base -> siege -> win. You should just be able to siege in your own base -> shoot at enemys
I do have a problem with shredder....too strong IMO at locking down mineral patches so workers can't go in and build an expansion. Siege tank zones hard enough, now you have these things to help them zone as well? Really dumb unit and does not belong in starcraft.

Seriously, I like how no one ever mentions how slow and not maneuverable the Terran's army is. If it's out in the field and you get raided--guest what? You've got about a thirty second to a minute wait before you can respond, depending on the size of the map. Zerg and Protoss have units where they can be anywhere on the battlefield quickly. Terrans have Hellions. That's it. These units are just designed to help with that.

@tomk887 -- Trying my best to understand your message. Assuming PF = Planetary Fortress, I have to point out that it takes ungodly amounts of resources to mass-repair one--resources that will limit the Terran's army size. They're SUPPOSED to be tough.
And, three turrets WILL NOT handle a decent-sized Muta ball. The problem is, once the Muta ball gets up to snuff (doesn't take a long time if you have a few expos) the Terran is forced to turtle--no real answer--or base-race.
@Lndmk227 .... not really, have you played zerg? your first muta pack is 8 at most. then you have no gas, if terrran pushes out at this point with tank and marine it is difficult to deal with. 3 turrents will hold this no problem, if it doesn't your placement just sucks. you don't even need suv repair with 3 muta, with more than 13 then you suv repair.
Furthermore if you let the zerg have more expo than 3 it is already 10 minutes in the game and if you do nothing it is your own bloody fault.

Shredder should have a small attack for when they are de-activated. Should have like an auto-turret, or the equal power of a bunker turret, or one marine, so they arent completely useless if a random scv runs for another mineral field.

Ghosts just got nerfed, Vikings were never that scary to begin with except en masse, and Battle Hellions will see their max usefulness late-game in death ball battles, like they're meant to be.
To be honest I'm not too impress with the new units for the terran because everyone knows the terran is already OP, so to make an OP race even more OP is just bullshit. Like in the first Starcraft Protoss race was in a way OP, and they fixed that with BW, but this is gay, unless in LotV changes that so no race is OP I'm going to be dissappointed

@Slimcognito2012 its hard to use 2 different characters while stimming and running, not to mention SM takes a very long time to research plus the raven has to build up energy for just 1 shot!? SM is also very slow... mutas can out run them, circle back, kills the raven, also the splash radius is kinda small (1 square) that means it only hits 2/4 mutas unless there bunched together (never happens) and even then muta has 20 more health.. SM is only good when your up against broze players
I play Terran I think this is a ridiculously overpower buff.
The warhounds just look stupid, and hellions are pretty strong atm, but making them a unit that you can get irrespective of whether or not the enemy has roaches? o.o
Hydra roach in ZvT is already a default no-go in the current meta game. Zerg has to take advantage of the mobility of Zerglings/Baneling/Muta to effectively harass and buy time to tech up or get an economy advantage before they are able to fight the Terran army head on. Now shredders can effectively and efficiently stop these harass and Zergling run-bys. (Speculation) Time to switch race.
Mass mutalisks magic boxing thors and sniping out terran expansions late game because you can never have enough anti-air spread out for 20+ mutas is so imba. Finally, Blizzard have done something for Terran to effectively counter mass muta late game.
A way to counter zealot charge? Seriously? Really now? ffs this is getting ridiculous...because the range of marine/marauder+healing+pickup is just not enough,Eespecially with ghost emp to drain shields and such. I sometimes wonder if these ppl think of actual balance or if they just think of ways to give terrans another nerdgasm...

@AbduCola Agreed. A drop of a couple of shredders would be murder unless the defending player has diamond+ level reaction times. And before someone says the workers can move before it deploys, think that the threat stays in place until delat with which blocks the mineral line.
Shredder looks like a powerful unit, but it probably is going to deal much less damage (or have a smaller range) than it currently does - completely blocking off a backstab like they do in this video is ridiculous. Needs adjustment, but it's a very cool idea.
@rashin As it stands, terran defenses require a significant commitment that takes away a LOT from the strength of the army. Making a push, you need to sacrifice a few tanks - and doing that, you MUST have marines to support them, typically in bunkers and with turrets. That's a lot of food that could be pushing. Having shredders instead will increase the viability of mech play, esp. in TvZ. Also, with current unit clumping spider mines would be ridiculously OP.
I like the shredder and thor substitute I think the hellion unit makes no sense, as the hellion magically increases in mass when it transforms, and somehow becomes more durable.

Like in the first Starcraft Protoss race was in a way OP, and they fixed that with BW, but this is gay, unless in LotV changes that so no race is OP I'm going to be dissappointed

@ChrisMr666 -- Okay, explain how they're OP, please. And don't say MMM. If you still lose to Terran's only viable death-ball, it's your own fault that you didn't pull out artillery/splash damage. Infestors, Templars, Colossus, Brood Lords, hell even Roach/Hydra works now. Terran mech air balls aren't reliable against any race, and Mutas raid Terrans all day long. Why don't you try exploiting the fact that Terrans can never protect their expos or mains with their army in the field?

also any half decent terran has his production spread out late game.
HT still will almost instantly lose to 2 or 3 full energy ghosts if the terran doesn't suck.
same with brofestors

mutas still suck in terms of an army unless you completely outplay the terran opponent.
I will agree that MMM isn't scary any more. its all the numerous units that support it that are terrifying.

@Slimcognito2012 its hard to use 2 different characters while stimming and running, not to mention SM takes a very long time to research plus the raven has to build up energy for just 1 shot!? SM is also very slow... mutas can out run them, circle back, kills the raven, also the splash radius is kinda small (1 square) that means it only hits 2/4 mutas unless there bunched together (never happens) and even then muta has 20 more health.. SM is only good when your up against broze players

I play Terran I think this is a ridiculously overpower buff.
The warhounds just look stupid, and hellions are pretty strong atm, but making them a unit that you can get irrespective of whether or not the enemy has roaches? o.o
The shredder is ridiculously OP

Hydra roach in ZvT is already a default no-go in the current meta game. Zerg has to take advantage of the mobility of Zerglings/Baneling/Muta to effectively harass and buy time to tech up or get an economy advantage before they are able to fight the Terran army head on. Now shredders can effectively and efficiently stop these harass and Zergling run-bys. (Speculation) Time to switch race.

Mass mutalisks magic boxing thors and sniping out terran expansions late game because you can never have enough anti-air spread out for 20+ mutas is so imba. Finally, Blizzard have done something for Terran to effectively counter mass muta late game.

@AbduCola Agreed. A drop of a couple of shredders would be murder unless the defending player has diamond+ level reaction times. And before someone says the workers can move before it deploys, think that the threat stays in place until delat with which blocks the mineral line.

Shredder looks like a powerful unit, but it probably is going to deal much less damage (or have a smaller range) than it currently does - completely blocking off a backstab like they do in this video is ridiculous. Needs adjustment, but it's a very cool idea.

@rashin As it stands, terran defenses require a significant commitment that takes away a LOT from the strength of the army. Making a push, you need to sacrifice a few tanks - and doing that, you MUST have marines to support them, typically in bunkers and with turrets. That's a lot of food that could be pushing. Having shredders instead will increase the viability of mech play, esp. in TvZ. Also, with current unit clumping spider mines would be ridiculously OP.
