Thayil, Cameron, Shepherd, Commerford, Wilk, and morello are a million times better than these guys. chris' new band sucks, they're not worthy to play all the great songs from soundgarden, temple of the dog, or audioslave.

Chill out man, I was once the same way as you were, when speaking of them playing Garden songs, but listen, Im a drummer of 13 years, if I was given the opportunity to tour with Chris and play SG songs....you bet your fuckin ass I would do it and I would recieve PLENTY of this crticism like you who so viciously hand down with your anger and ruse. Soundgarden was easily the Greatest band in decades but times have changed, theyve moved on, so should you, Chris's "God'Like" vocals died with SG.

give cornell some credit, man...he's a brilliant musician and he would never hire musicians that weren't up to the task...this is his show, his spotlight...he doesnt need to hire virtuosos or star power for his backing band...HE sells the tickets

Crap, Chris got his voice back, and the band that is backing him up sucks ass. I'm not asking for Soundgarden or Audioslave, but some decent musicians with personality. I saw these guys last year, Chris was great but the band was horrible, no personality or chemistry to the music.

the rest of the guys from audioslave and soundgarden are good, and i agree that chris's backing band isn't as good as them, but in a way they aren't doing too bad cuz they have been left with very big shoes to fill. it would be near impossible to find people as good as audioslave and soundgarden to play with chris. so yes, his backing band is kinda bad, but you gotta give them kudos for trying. it is hard to play like tom morello you know?
