  • Ur an asshole this is a great and interesting ritual

  • what a disgusting behavior. Someone make this inhuman ritual stop. This is such a disgrace to the human race. What nasty people they are .

  • @MsCatskittens

You are a narrow minded nasty and disgraceful sub-human being for thinking you are more humane than others.

  • @MsCatskittens what a dumb ignorant fucking bitch you are, you must be another american bimbo whore that knows nothing about the world beyond starbucks and walmart fuck you you fucking filthy bitch

  • Yeah in Chinese culture we actually have to dig the death after 3 years of burial. When my dad died we decided to cremate him coz nobody in our family had the guts to see his rotten body .

  • i also want to move my fathers bone to a more stable burial group or a tomb.

  • Oh my. What do you know, they do this in Benguet, Philippines too. Dig up their dead, clean, rearrange and dress the bones. Put in new coffin, rebury. Sacrifice pigs for ritual and visit with family.

  • My grnadmother was buried last week. I hope her tombstone doesnt say HO is big letters.

  • Burial

  • Interesting. I know I would like to be in a nice place after death.

  • there are some pretty weird traditions out there....

  • @EtcEtcAndEtc

Look at yourself. Whatever you practise might appear weird to others too.

  • the grandma looks like my grandma dude

  • they're taiwanese

  • these guys must b loaded to buy such a huge pagoda 0.0

  • vietnamese do this too, but only when the grave site, is floody or watever

  • wtf??

  • Duties and honor to family until death and beyond, the asian family are all about family ties, honor and respect man.

  • ya respect

  • I think this culture does a good job respecting the dead.

  • I like it :-) its interesting and we should respect other people's traditions and customs. Although once I leave this earth- I would like my remains to stay in the one GRAVE that I've chosen. Hee hee That way I can RIP :-)

  • i think it spells Hu?

  • my god, i am a taiwanese and this is explicit.

it's called "jien gu", "picking up bones"

  • I think thats really cool. Kinda weird. But cool =]

  • ehh, it was ok. The only thing that creeped me out was that the brothers didn't wear gloves while cleaning the bones. *shudders*

  • You gotta catch "Vampire - Out of the Coffin"

  • ignorant people who are lost from salvation

  • Becuase they found evolution and science.

  • LOL PWNED!

  • urrr sick dude

why dig up the grandmas bones clean them and rebury them. They should have put granny in a coffin instead of some mud..

  • dude. didnt you listen to why they do this? its thier culture so dude, its not sick to them.

  • A coffin in soil don't last. Bone last much longer. I'v seen one of these reburial. It's just a tradition, and it's not like it smells, so it's not all that disgusting afterall.

  • Tradition is often lost in translation (sheltered as a child, christian, and of course not very bright to begin with) I see nothing wrong with transferring remains if thats what you believe. Afterall, it's not like the dead care what you do to them.

  • WHat the dead care is not important. The idea is that this ritual strengthen the bond of the family and that is why it still exist.

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • If they have a doctor in the family, so it's Doctor Who? Whoa! Cool!(Joke for the Nerds)

  • Funerals are for the living. Nice to have cultures that remain close to family members. Makes GOOD people.

  • Hmm. Interesting.

  • these weird traditions creep the living shit out of me

  • It would be arrogant to assume that one culture's method of connecting with deceased loved ones is any way wrong, contrary, or less than another's. This family reveres the remains and the memory of their deceased relatives. This is evil in what way? The Universe is too large for any one culture to stake a claim in God.

  • nothing for archeologists to do know so they open up second burials for fook sake somebody tell me this is wrong, the wongs and theyre "GEOMASTER" taking advantage of people who feel they owe something to theyre dead

  • WHOS THE WONGS AND WHICH WONGS THE WHOS

  • i was in taiwan last summer with a friend. these tomb cover entire hills and vallies. it a sight to see. but traditions used to be the daughter had to dig up her parent's remains a short time after burial (like a month or two) and skrape all the skin off. good thing times have changed haha
