what happens when the you have a game in the slim and it loads like after it says playstation 2 on the screen when it flashes out then it go black for a long time does that mean the laser died out or the ps2 broke i need help please

@jjwls30 Either the disc is dirty or the laser has went out. Does this do this with all games?

hi mate i have a ps2 slim model 70002 the problem is when i put a game inside, the disc wont spin and i had a look at the laser its a very milky color, it loads up to the start screen and shows no data, do you no whats wrong with it cheers

Hi, I just purchased a new ps2 slimline laser cos my old laser was giving me disk read errors all the time, this started happening after playing a blue disk (Dynasty Warriors 2) it doesn't play any games any more only (Dynasty Warriors 2) so I bought the new laser and I just want to say that I have completely removed the blob of soldering that required removing but wanted to know if I was ment to do it exactly like the picture shows on ur vid?

Because now that I have removed all of the soldering blob - It is creating circles on my ps2 disk I think, is it anything to do with me removing the soldering completely or do you think it is something to do with the new brown ribbon for my ps2 laser that I purchased a few days ago (might not be in right ) ?
