@opera2545 then go watch the blue angles. more planes = more coordination having to comunicate with people side by side with you, in front of you, and be hind you, which is more difficult. blue angles on the other hand have little to worry about

In 2008, we had the Blue Angels, the Thunderbirds, the Red Arrows and the Snowbirds on the same air show. That event was awesome. Red Arrows and Snowbirds are pretty much the same but it was great.

maybe its because stirling the founder was scottish. people just assumed this, bit like all the men at Rorke's Drift were welsh

@talpore i dont know but i just heard a figure that a large proportion of them were scots. no doubt there are probably a large prop of welsh too seeing the terrain over there provides a good training env., and people are probably more used to that terrain than from alot of places in england. like i said, i dont know where i heard it, but ive wathched a load of SAS docs so it might be from one of them. i think its the series where theyshow how the sas deal wiv diff. environments and missions.

Since their rebirth in the jungles of Malaya , in 22nd regiment there has been a scottish increase mostly from the highland gaurds and the blackwatch , it just seems like these guys are the ones making money from it after words under false names, so it does seem like most are scottish coz thats what we see on the tele but most of them are from 2 or 3 para which are mostly english based, sorry about the over the top comment, but we are all british anyway so screw it :L
