  • When I moved out of state, I accidentally left all my Burnside albums! I hate myself!

  • except for Ass Pocket of Whiskey

  • Burnside playing Lightnin Hopkins. It's best not to think about that for too long or your head will explode from sheer badassery.

  • Burnside Style !!

  • Is this tune identical to "Rollin and Tumblin" or am I wrong?

  • @turkishpower08 i thought the same thing. it sure sounds like it man esp. if you compare it to canned heat's version

  • THIS IS NOT DEATH BELL BLUES. This is Fireman Rang The Bell.

    DAMMIT.

  • Hmm interesting, nice upload obviously but is it just me or does the guitar lick sound kind of like how he does Rollin' And Tumblin'?

  • this is ........??????.....Oh my God......

  • Spine chillin blues. What album is this from?

  • @MrSmiley1964 This is on Too Bad Jim released in 1994

  • @zenguitarblues recorded in the Netherlands, with Jon Morris (Nerenberg) on bluesharp.

  • reminds me of a white stripes song

  • thanks Roberto

  • Great for a Sunday.Great any day.*****

  • cheers Paul

  • thanks BB~didn't know it was on an earlier album

  • Got this on a 1988 lp called Acoustic Stories. Love the way the harp sounds really distant. Really adds atmosphere! He's on it with that slide too. A highlight of the album! 5*

  • Y'all scare me.

Another one neglected by the Hall of Fame.

The Executive Director actually told me(after his liaison failed to respond) that he had no idea how the process worked, how musicians were nominated,or even who chose the inductees.

  • The Blues Liberation Front have stated that they regard the Hall of Fame as a bourgeois institution and as such will be held in contempt along with any and all such recognition of the" Peoples Music" and/or its practitioners

  • LOL!!!!! There's actually a Blues Liberation Front?

Gotta say, doesn't say much if the exec director of the hall of fame knows nothing of the induction process. Priceless!
