  • anybody notice Phillip Lutzenkirchen the Auburn tight end on here think he is the only white guy

  • @ooVoo257 Yea who is that? He moves like a beast and has size too.

  • is ltzenkirchen now with the auburn tigers? his catch was insane!

  • @javonlegacy Within 5 yards yes.

  • 1:14 LMAO

  • 1:10 The Wr looked at least 3 years older than the DB

  • 2:41 DOOOJJ!!!

  • Not floridian speed.

  • @ashleoaa ya your right, more like 10x florida speed.

  • there all black.

  • last kid.... why would u bump some1 thats twice as big as u....

  • @javonlegacy Probly, I think you can count it as a block

  • they are sick

  • i play db in college and i have done this drill plenty of times. its a good practice coverage drill but its almost impossible for the db to pick the ball. so the ones that di have perfect tequniqe. Alot of this players dont have teq.

  • The WR looking hugh man. however the DBs have to show more patiences. Take away a side (Inside) and force the QB to make a great throw and the WR to make a better catch. EYe placment was an issue as well have to watch the WR body movment, high running before a dorp in the hip is almost always a hitch or come back. If you inside on his hip the hitch is taken away with postioning and on the come back just have to drive to the man and don't let the hold u off with their hands.

  • where did theses dbs learn to play football??? daaang they suck!

  • @icyman17 - Have you ever played man cover one on one? Reciever is easy. CB is hard. Plus these are high school kids.

  • @ReeseyPiecey34 i play them both it is harder to play cb for one ur starting out backwards so uhhh yea..and some routes look made up jus to beat the cb hips are good for the first few yards for most corner added pressure from other positions in real life situation will be less complicated

  • @ReeseyPiecey34 corner back is hard in man coverage but its easy otherwise

  • @icyman17 Corner is the toughest position to play. And how many times do you think that a qb is gonna be able to sit there, no pressure, and decide to throw the ball when the time is perfect. Hell this drill is geared to make the wr look good because there is no pressure, no over the top, no underneath coverage. Yeah like a wr is gonna have all that time to run his precise route. Naw doesn't happen so you may be getting a poor view of just how good these db's actually are.

  • it's the college level son, and plus football is basiclly turning into a game about SPEED.

  • hahaha @ the tiny whit kid @ 1:12

  • stop looking at the damm ball. u guys are weak.

  • the D is horrible exept for like 2 players lol. most of the got beat badly lol

  • Also corners its ok to have your chest turned into the receiver when their going up field, you don't always have to have your back point towards him. Facing the receiver allows you to better gauge; speed, receiver position (harder for him to fade away), and ball placement in the air. For this to work you can't be in a trailing position, and not to get into trailing position your technique has to be good from start. Very few receivers have the speed to beat good technique, but all can beat bad.

  • Also, facing in allows for a better angle of ball cutoff when in jump ball situations - its like posting up. Football and especially the corner position is about angles on the field.

  • @LastCalltoBoogie

wow, that dude in the white handband was on fire

  • @LastCalltoBoogie Damn were you my coach? This was precisely what my db coach told us! In fact, one of our coverages was to roll up on the wr, with our back toward the LOS and taking away the inside lanes from wr/qb. Force them to throw over your head and along the sideline. A lot of qb's can make that pass, but its damn hard to get it in there consistently.

  • I need to become a CB coach soon because they aren't teaching players how to play corner. Never open the gate to let the receiver pass you, step with one foot and punch with the opposite arm of the foot you stepped with. Also, if a receiver comes off the line and pushes you, then head butt and release his ass when he tries to stalk block on a running play. Don't let him get into you head during pass defense, but he has to pay. If receivers were tough they'd play running back.

  • Don't head butt it's dangerous, but the receiver has to pay. Catch him when he's looking down the line for when the balls hiked, if you're playing cover one, come up to him like you're jamming, and then back off like it's zone, but when the balls hiked roll up on him quick to jam the shit out of him outside before he turns his head to get into his route. It works at least one time during a game. Save it for an aggressive receiver to let him know what he's in for.

  • @LastCalltoBoogie Like the way you think, but with the interference rules, aggressive corners are getting flagged very often.

  • @LastCalltoBoogie Good advice. We were told the same thing, and to never cross our feet. That's what a wr wants to do when you're playing way off and he has alot of room to make moves. Play on the balls of your feet, never cross one foot over the other, and keep your head/torso as still and level as possible.

  • That darryl moorer is the worst corner i've ever seen, he got burned on the hook but the qb didn't throw it and let the guy go an even though he had a 10 yard cushion on him from being beat so bad on the hook the guy still caught the ball, ugly ugly defense

  • Yes. I wuz just about to say he might az well have been sittin on the sideline covering like that.

  • Question: At 1:07, would that be considered pass interference on the DB?

  • nah man, no ref in the whole world would call that a penalty

  • I agree. Just that I'm about to go to college and I do the same thing and people always say they would call interference on me if I did that.

  • these DBs need to get a V to their receivers hip then look for the ball because they look for the ball before they have a V to the hip and the receivers drift away

  • XD those corners look a lot like those bad ones we got here in germany... i myself play CB/WR for 2 years and already play as a starter for my state's allstar team and for the national team XD.. ithink it's easier to be scouted over here than in the US cause here's just not so much competition but enough scouts

  • Two or three step close on the receiver and then look for the ball. Also, when beat watch the eyes and play the hands to break-up the ball - don't swat at the ball but the stop hand.

  • Always three step read the quarter back even in one on one's, this gives you notice if it may be a short ball, and keeps you from back peddling your way out of a play on the ball.

  • DB's: get on your god damn toes! Don'at be flat footed when doing your backpedals. Do hundreds of backpedals until it's as natural as running forward. And keep your heads still, no bobbing up and down. It's hard as hell to be a good corner, that's why its so hard to find ones that you can stick on an island. But if you practice your backpedals on your toes and practice, practice, practice turning your hips without bobbing your heads, you'll get a lot better.

  • no u just need to be smart. u need to time your moves, especially when u are doing a fake. most importantly, dont be the one guessing what the wr doing, make the wr geuss what u are doing. yes i am speaking in riddle, only true football player will know

  • haha the wr at the end isnt wearing cleats, what a joke

  • none of them are wearing cleats you shmuck. Its bama's indoor facility.

  • ??? umm they all are except the shitty guy. just cuz its indoor doesnt mean no cleats haha

  • its turf brah!

  • @madswagg28 no shit...

  • People dnt no that 1 on 1 is hard 4 dbs Bc wrs have the whole feild 2 work with And they can do any possible route...Its hard 4 us to coverr that shyt

  • Yeah, its crap. The QB has all this time to throw the ball, so the WR has time to get into all these moves and the DB has to keep backpedling. Try throwing this with guys breathing down your neck and with bigger corners able to manhandle you at the line. The rules are so crazy regarding how little contact can be applied to receivers, that it makes them superstars when they have all the advantages. That's why when a DB has the chance to punish 'em, we do.

  • lMAo joe stewart hiit hiim up at 2:00

    ~Barber~

  • these are high school guys right ?

  • yeah, but some of the best in their area

  • Yup. Seniors are invited....

  • last 2 at the end of the video, wth was that?! lol

some of these DBs look like 12 year olds and need to grow 2 more ft and 100 more pounds

  • nice ending.

  • they need better CBs

  • haha these DB's suk boto. they always let the WR get away from them, nd they shouldnt be watching the ball, it slows dem down. its better if u keep ur eyes on the WR, nd wen he puts his hands up to catch the ball the DB should block his hands. no one taught these niggas?

  • these are some cool vids to see

wish i went to one of these camps

  • lol i dont wanna knock alabama or nuttuin but DANM! do yall have any DBs up there? cuz that was horriable

  • terrance lockett

    0:13

    definition of bad footwork

  • cuz he was on his heels huh

  • roflllll

he fell down doing back pedals

  • Comment removed

  • amen haha

  • dude, its hard to cover man to man no matter how fast you are. if you run a 4.4 and the guy youre covering runs a 4.4 you are going to lose some time. thats why people run zone.

  • i completly agree wit u kid but from the tape it was just bad technique or not playen the ball right i mean ya everyone gets beat but it shouldnt look like that for so many kids

  • probably cus the qb has unlimited time to throw. but yeah alot of them are getting beat bad.

  • fo sho half them routes wouldnt be ran in a real life game but some of it is ridculous

  • jajajajaja hahahhaa naon king

  • wowzerz.lol

    2:42

  • thats a perfect word that little one got MAN HANDLED

  • im sure that philip kid plays tight end.... as u can see when he straight punks that corner.. they make the tight ends do one on one routes instead of one on ones wit o and d line men... lol i play tight end my self..

  • Philip Lutzenkirchen is garbage in this and in games.. they should've just cut him. Myles is nfl caliber

  • Haha you must be an alabama fan?

  • hahaha omg not even wvu"ish" fan more of just noel devine

  • what?

  • I like west virginia just because noel devine goes there and i hate alabama

  • ok why are you telling me this?

  • cuz u said u must be an alabama fan then u didnt get when i said no..

  • I was talking to jusmyhated.

  • yeah thats my old account, i thought i was still on it

  • oh. Why do you think philip is garbage? He's having and outstanding senior season and he's a four star prospect commited to Auburn?

  • because all he has is his height, he's speed is below average his jump is average hands average. he's an average player that can get covered easily

  • you dumb fuck. you stupid piece of shit. you dont know anything about football you stupid fuck. hes got the best hands in the country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If a QB has infinite time and one on one coverage the DB will always lose.

  • haha. i love the last matchup.

that DB aint ready for the SEC!

  • Nice set of videos, thanks for getting these up :)

  • so who participated high school students? current colledge players? Pro Players?

  • these are high school kids. the majority are senior to be athletes but there can be a couple underclassmen there too

  • Wow great route running.

  • the DB's sucked at this one they make'n the WR's look nasty
