Wizard reminded me of the one on a packet of popping candy - In a spin and getting all dizzy with that Excitement. Every part of the E obsession on Look and Read got me a bit confused, as my mother used to say E all the time - part of her northern accent for example: E that's nice Cake love! - Could not quite fathom the E out in writing, just speech.

apparently you're not allowed to say 'magic e' anymore, you have to call it a split phoneme (according to my friends on the primary PGCE course!)!

There was another magic e wizard that had a more high pitch voice and said stuff like "recognize magic e with ears and eyes" "hurt your shin will make it shine with magic eeeeeeeeeeeeee" and "weeeeeeeeeeee magic e!"
