@twostroketaylor you so called motocross racers land on a huge ass piece of hill side you pretend to call a landing ramp.....that is the difference, all these guys jumping 250-300 ft plus are all landing on huge wide landing zones made of earth....try going ramp to proper ramp at those distances....nahhhhhh didn't think so......a little bit like walking the high wire with a safety net below you and then saying your the best lol....knievel did not have a safety net..just bigger balls

Another arrogant punk bashed Robbie Knievel with Mike Metzger's little 'pussy jump' as my stepdad calls Mike Metzger's jump at Caesar's Palace. My stepdad said "While a record is a record, it isn't fair to put Metzger in Robbie Knievel's league when Metzger's takeoff height was at least twice the height of that used by The Knievels and Gary Wells, especially after what happened to Gary Wells and Evel Knievel and when ESPN admitted to the heightened takeoff and to increased safety measures."

Ill admit that I havent jumped as far as robbie, but me and my friends jump higher than him all day long and can do way more tricks than lame no handers. Id like to see him come out here to glen helen and beat me on a track, all im saying is that robbie rides like a goon and u can tell he doesnt have very much skill he almost flips his bike off of every jump he does when his lip isnt even steep at all.

Like I just said, MOTORCYCLE RACING and DAREDEVIL STUNTS are two different categories, you should really listen to ESPN's admission of Mike Metzger's jump compared to Knievel's jump, especially when the late Evel Knievel was the once to start the Daredevil jumps. Without him, Metzger probably would've never attempted his mediocre backflip of Caesars. You show a lot of mouth and arrogance and show no backup, or guts for that matter. You're all talk.

My stepdad used to be a motorcycle mechanic and own his own shop, I worked there part time between the ages of 13 and 16, an arrogant dirtracer client bashed Robbie Knievel in his shop and My stepdad said "None of these 'pros' have ever jumped the distances The Knievels did. Neither Seth Enslow, Travis Pastrana nor Ryan Capes have attempted to jump the Panama Canal or The Twin Towers for that matter. Therefore, they're not pros" (He said this after Robbie's train jump but before 9/11).

There was NEVER an attempt to jump the Twin Towers. My stepdad ended up banning the arrogant dirtracer, I asked him "What was that all about?" my stepdad told me, "Long time dirt racers are too arrogant, they bash Knievel yet they've never done better than him. They all seem like those TV wrestlers to me." I later came to realize and agree with his position of "When you've done better than who you bashing, than you can talk." One really good lesson to keep in mind.

Daredevil bashers are just plain wimps. I'd like to see what Seth Enslow has to say after that roof to roof jump over the Jockey's Club that Robbie did. The majority of dirt biker injuries are from carelessness while racing, they wanna cry about their injuries and they were in the hospital for less than a week, Evel Knievel and Gary Wells nearly suffered critical injuries due to their failed jump of Caesar's Palace.

I was @ Kings Island tonite, May 24 2008. Like Father Like Son Day. My Son and I did witness the Greatest DARDEVIL on the Planet!!! KAPTAIN ROBBIE KNIEVEL!!!!! Evel has got to be Grin-n Ear to Ear. It was the most Killer thing I have ever witnessed.
