i feel as though lars' drum tracks on ride, master, and justice were all excellent.

i seriously believe that lars ulrich is the best musician in metallica, or he was on par with james and cliff, at least. he never under plays anything, and he never over plays anything (many metal drummers over do it i find) he adds the nessesary dynamics, nothing more, nothing less. i think his best work is on the ride the lightning album
