  • @wolfeyesmariah . Hey!! you need to know what sound device is installed in your system. go to device manager and check that out if you haven't yet upgraded. If you have upgraded then go to dell and type in your service tag no. and locate your sound device. Then you have to download the correct drivers for your sound device because windows 7 is installing drivers that won't let the device communicate with the computer.

  • @wolfeyesmariah Sorry It was't letting me complete my comment. After that you go to my video and follow the instructions there. I am still uploading it. so will give you the link in a few minutes

  • @tarunmunjalny Omg dude could you please help me with this problem? I'll PM you my specs if you can help. It would be the biggest help in the world!!!

  • downgrade

  • I know, I was thinking that too. /=

    I might just have to.

  • umm do it like i did in my vid

instead of letting your computer search for drivers automatically, do it manually. =]

  • Yours was actually the first video I tried.

I did that, it restarts my computer, and then the sound drivers are there. Everything is like, Applicable.

But then, in playback devices, it says it's disabled when it isn't. /=

I click them and they are all running properly.

  • Like the icon for them will be there and it says enabled, but when you diagnose what is wrong, it says they're disabled.
