HI I had different size of watermark fonts on my pictures.. i made them all 24 size of font but why would some pictures be bigger then others for the watermark.. strange>>>

OK for quick bloc watermarking. I prefer to do mine individually as some I like on the right and some on the left according to the image. In PS just create a text layer, hold down Alt 0169 to get the copyright symbol and type. You can change fonts and colour and even rotate to put the notice along an edge, and even move to a centre position.

This is great, however, my watermark is all different sizes on my edited photos. I suspect it is the result of cropping my original photo files during Photoshop editing. Is there anyway to make the watermarks all the same size without having to do it photo by photo? I am saving edited images as small jpegs for uploading to a website gallery. If I individually watermark each one when I save it how will I know what size font to use to make it appear the same size on my editing image?

u could do this or u could just put another picture any where u want on the base picture and just lower the opacity....

good tutorial! could I theoretically design a logo for myself by hand, put it on elements 7, cut it out & use that logo to watermark my pictures?

If you changed the destination folder to a different folder than the folder the originaly were in then your originals are still in the folder they were in before you watermarked them.
