I first heard Daft Punk on "The Saint" soundtrack, then later on Mtv's short lived show, Amp. That's actually when that particular song hooked me. And I completely agree. They have a sound that isn't "dated" and sounds fresh to this day.
I love that song, it brings back strong memories for me personally .. I agree though, it is a song that can be played in a club today and be just as relevant now as it was then, which is pretty amazing.
Daft Punk are awesome! The Daft Punk 'Alive' album is the best in my opinion!

I am only 20 and I remember those B96 days. Definitely use to record the 10'o clock Mix Hour on Casette almost every night. House Music is theeeee best. I am a house head, and a true Chicagoan. lmao. I am gonna go check out the song, hopefully I will like it. My favorite song is Incubus- Aqueous Transmission. I've loved this song since I was 15 years old. I saw them live when I was 17, and it was one of the best concerts I've been to. Listening to this song live was incredible. I almost can't put into words how much I love this song.

favorite song: "Never Think" by Rob Pattinson. I like ALL kinds of music, but for some reason I just LOVE this song. it has been played 917 times on my i-tunes, and I never get tired of listening to it. it works if I'm sad or happy, which is kinda great I think. and also I think Rob has an incredible and unique voice. :)
ps: also LOVE "Around the World", and remember when it came out as well - liked it ever since ;)

One of my favorite songs is Be Still My Heart by The Postal Service. I think I like this song so much because its about finding new love but being unsure whether its real or not, and whether it will last. I find the song really calming.

My favourite song is probably In My Eyes by Minor Threat. I started doing a lot of drugs in high school and the song opened my eyes, made me realize I was being an idiot, and I stopped. Minor Threat remains one of my favourite bands to this day.

my favorite song that i always would have on any mp3 or itunes is Hotel California by The Eagles. I remember at the age of nine, really growing out of listening to only hip-hop, and moving over to other genres, an I was in the car with my mom, and she knew all the words. I just thought it was so cool, my mom telling me about when she was in high school, and the songs debut.

My favourite song changes like every day ... but I'd have to say Jesus Doesn't Love Me by Dragonette. I labeled it as a fave a while after I got hooked on it, which I do with a lot of songs, but I never really got bored of it - which I DO end up doing with the aforementioned lot of songs :P. It's only been about a year since I first heard it, but it's got the highest play count on my iTunes, 196 at this moment. Not a lot, but I'm still young!

I first heard Daft Punk on "The Saint" soundtrack, then later on Mtv's short lived show, Amp. That's actually when that particular song hooked me. And I completely agree. They have a sound that isn't "dated" and sounds fresh to this day.

I love that song, it brings back strong memories for me personally .. I agree though, it is a song that can be played in a club today and be just as relevant now as it was then, which is pretty amazing.
