they're not too difficult to find in large cities or areas where you find Korean communities. All western breeds were created for certain look/temperment. Jindos are not a "breed" in that sense. They all lived on an island for thousands of years so they have a very strong and semi-feral personality. Sweet as can be to family but to oursiders they are protective and fierce. Socialization and training from young age is a must.
Yeah, my Jindo "Bear" does that to my carpet, the grass in the back yard, laundry, etc... I've always thought Bear just wanted things to smell like him when he did that.
