Great camerawork and composition as always OzPix. I camped there in total isolation in 1954 and climbed the Rock (no handrail then) to capture in 8mm Kodachrome and slow Kodacolor stills the splendour of that magic place. Flash bulbs lit the wonderful indigenous rock paintings in the caves at the base of the rock and in the chasms at the Olgas. From the top of the Rock, flat topped Mt Connor to the north east completed the amazing trio rising starkly from the red earth. Ah ! Nostalgia!
@nleeder Thanks Noel, An amazing part of Oz. We previously climbed to the top (with handrail) in 72 but there wasn't much else except a few Indigenous campers.
