The styling is based off the original 240z. Just look at the rear quarter widows on both cars and it is clear. Much much prettier lines than the 350 and I was a huge 350 fan
Im 6' 6" and i fit perfectly into this car and i still have a couple inches of headroom to go. I was at the Central FLorida International Auto Show yesterday and i absolutly fell in love with this vehicle.
i never test drove the 370z until just 3 days ago .people that like this car either haven't driven German or just don't know about cars. when i drove it, I did not feel confident in its abilities, and I think the main reason for this is the lack of visibility. It also doesn't feel as quality as Audi and BMW which I have driven. It tries to imitate them by a rough ride and heavy steering but that is not what makes them

@TheThedragonwarrior 370Z performs better overall than a TT or Z4 IMO, and the Cayman/Boxster is not comparable... paying that Porsche maintenance on a used example will be hell, being the great cars that they are.

My friend drives an SLK and I would never drive it over my S2000, even though his car was like 20k more haha, but I like a pure sports car, and he likes luxury and prestige. @TheThedragonwarrior I LOVE the S2000. If you are looking for that type of car, you have to drive one. It is very solid, tight, great steering, very predictable in every way. Its very rev-happy so under 5K its a gas sipping commuter (I average 24 city, and have gotten 31 all freeway) and on the top end its a screamer. It's not REAL fast, but fast enough for a big grin. I bought my 05 with 9K for 19,000, a fantastic value for what it is, IMO at least. If you can, get a CR, I wish I did.

For the money/practicality/performance it is as good as it gets without dropping a lot more money to get more car. @MorbidlyDeceased It depends on what you're looking for. I like the IS but not the convertible. Then again I'm not a convertible fan. The IS is more of a touring sporty car, where's the Z is a focused sports car. So pick and choose. Try to see yourself day in and day out with the car if you're going to use it as a daily. Really the two are that comparable. On some levels yes but on most I'd say no. One has dull ride and no feeling, the other the opposite.

i want to see, the Nissan 370Z Nismo 2010edition vs Dodge Challenger SRT8 2010 edition, even the Challnger have a bigger engine. Both are at the same price, aound 45k. and a couple of laps in a race track, that that simple 1/4 mile, That's fair!

Can't decide what to go with, the new Z or Lexus IS convertible. They're both around the same price, the Lexus isn't as fast (but not by much), and after all, it IS a Lexus. Decisions, decisions.

@MorbidlyDeceased It depends on what you're looking for. I like the IS but not the convertible. Then again I'm not a convertible fan. The IS is more of a touring sporty car, where's the Z is a focused sports car. So pick and choose. Try to see yourself day in and day out with the car if you're going to use it as a daily. Really the two are that comparable. On some levels yes but on most I'd say no. One has dull ride and no feeling, the other the opposite.

i agree. the old tail lamps looked cleaner and more visable. The Z is deffinately an asian's wet dream. kinda conflicted. I want the corvette next year but I really like the Z since it came back out. Any recommendations?
