  • @KA780ZE You must not know music then. You probably listen to rap. You call those lyrics? I call them degrading words towards women and a disrespect to society.

  • @PlatinumSkullz

Amen to that sir. All American rap usually includes such disgusting concepts, meanwhile raps like this one are both fun to listen to and are wholesome.

  • i love Jay Chou, i study chinese at school, and i really love some of his lyrics! xx

    要知道,當你失敗,失落

    媽媽會永遠陪著你

    給你溫暖

  • I thank my Chinese teacher for introducing me to his music, he is very talented and his music touches my heart. You won't get that much with other musicians in american or in k-pop musicians, music = life, music expresses our emotions and past experiences and that's how it should be. Not about who's so fly and style.

  • 听妈妈的话

    ting mama de hua

    happy mothers' day

    mak

  • The kid in the video (not Jay Chou) is rocking too fast... Not in beat with the AWESOME song...

  • Love this song ^^

  • I think jay chou's hair suit him most here lol

  • i dont' know.. pretty good song... but if i were that boy.. I would've laughed my ass off trying to do that arm swinging

  • my friend really likes him but personally i really dont like him

during tutoring she puts him on and i get annoyed then we start fighting and she says bigbang is not as good as him but i say bigbang is better

so personally i really dont like him

  • i was singing to jay chou without knowing what the words meant.. i learnt mandarin just so i could. the lyrics have layers of meaning and the music arrangements are complex and inspired. i love k-pop too but really hard to beat this guy right here.

  • jay chou is da best...

    i'm a malay girl..

but i'm stdying in chinesse school..

  • U see duh black guyz. They rap about sex, drugs, boobies, butts, guns, and getting "tipsy"...

Our Jay Chou raps about his mom, yo!

  • thanks omniback20...it sounds even more better now.a masterpiece.

  • I listened to this song after I fought with my mother. I ran upstair and locked myself in my bedroom. She then come up and also locked herself in her room too. We haven't spoke for a long time. This song helps reminds me that mother's love are so deep and you can't understand it until you grow up. I want to say sorry to her but I'm still too afraid to do so..... mommy i love you. im so sorry.

  • @puddingprince26 no one cares on the internet. go tell that to your mother

  • fantastic song.love it......dont understand a word though.

  • @pawangtr The song is called "Listen to your mom" and it talks about how his mom has helped him in his life.

  • I wish the world would stop obsessing over K-Pop. K-Pop may sound good but the lyrics are shallow. C-Pop/ MandoPop is so deep, poetic, and full of meaning, the music is also on the traditional side. K-Pop is pretty much only popular because of its Western Taste and Appearance. Jay Chou is King of Pop in the East. He sings about listening to your parents and family while Korea is losing that cultural string and singing about getting funky. Don;t get mad at me I read it on some website.

  • @HsushiKing why bring up kpop here? there's no need to. And yes KPOP may have been influenced more by western trends it does not mean it's just a copy of western music it's a blend and a good one also. And NO not all the lyrics for KPOP are shallow that's a big generalization right there.

  • @burningpassion234 Yes it is a generalization meaning the majority. I never said ALL. I used what general knowledge of experiences listening to K-Pop (and I have heard a song from almost every group) and made my assumption. GENERALLY they have basic content meaning in the lyrics. GENERAL'S TSO'S CHICKEN!

  • @HsushiKing your right that kpop may have less meaningful lyrics but music can't be conveyed by lyrics alone. Extremely good choreography, high quality music videos, extremely talented rappers and singers are good for music also. Dont' get me wrong I like both Zhou jie lun and Cpop also, I'm just saying kpop's good also.

  • @burningpassion234 Thats true buddy. Though when I drive around or go on a roadtrip, I listen to my ipod(rip steve Jobs). Dancing and music videos don't really work in those situations. Haha. I'd rather focus on soothing and meaningful words to sing along to. Dancing to such music will result in a fatal accident.

  • @HsushiKing couldn't agree more than that. And i really don't like that most of their songs features heavy digitally altered voice and digitally engineered musics. And some songs have those repeating lyrics that really get me sick, lol

  • @HsushiKing ikr k-pop is shit

  • @HsushiKing i think you mean gay-pop

  • @McNuggetsPie Hahahah crap my mistake. Typo.

  • @HsushiKing i definitely agree with you that is why i love listening to them..................

  • @HsushiKing Taste in music is subjective, but I can agree with the lyrics. I've been translated both Korean and Chinese lyrics for years...rather than shallow, I think it would be more accurate to say kpop lyrics are more repetitive and literal. Mando-pop usually does have more variety, a deeper meaning and more metaphoric, so it's more difficult to translate into English. I also generally find Canto-pop even more difficult to translate than mando-pop.

  • @crystalis0324 **translating

  • @crystalis0324 Jay Chou just reinforces the deeper meanings of Mando-Pop. Singing about his mom, true love, and other real world conflicts. Not to mention he is GOD at piano composition. Canto-Pop is harder to translate because of the nature of the dialect. Though Canto-Rap sounds cool as fudge. I don't cuss. Haha.

  • @HsushiKing Yes, and proof would be Younha. She didn't get applied for almost all of the Korean Music Industries and they did not accept her because she "wasn't pretty enough". She got discouraged and went to Japan, submitted in a song of hers to a Japanese Drama, and got popular then.

  • @HsushiKing look, i know i just started listening to chinese music, but dont go hatin on korean, good he's king of pop. lets leave it at that and stop hatin. not trying to be rude, it just seems asian pop fans like to start fan wars and let me tell you, the korean fans will eat u alive if they see a comment like that:/

  • @MsThugbear Everyone has their own opinions. I personally dislike K-Pop and think it is overrated, but I don't go to every K-Pop song and say "I dislike this!" I respect it for the success. K-Pop fans defend it WAY too much and it seriously culminates a mindset that K-Pop fans are Zombies or brain washed. Thug Bear! You seem to be nice and mature though. Thanks for that! BEST FRIEND!

  • @MsThugbear Totally agree. *high five* But I think both Kpop and Cpop is good in their bad and good ways. I still love both Kpop, Cpop, or whatever. =]

  • @HsushiKing u dont have to bring down k-pop just to make c-pop better there both different in so many ways why compare anyway

  • @cheetah7170 I'm not trying making C-Pop better. I'm just mentioning the positive side and the tradition it holds which K-pop is lacking. Since when did I become the spokesperson for the music industry? I have my own opinion, and so do you. They are different in many ways. I see you prefer K-Pop,but I don't. For me, its pretty much American pop in Korean. No offense. I respect K-Pop though. I don't like Pop music in general, but when someone sings about their love for their mom, then heck yeah!

  • @HsushiKing Who cares. It don't matter whether it's Kpop, Cpop, whatever. If it's a good song then I'm listening to it. I don't like comparing what's good and what's not about Kpop, Cpop, whatever. Let's just enjoy the song. I agree with your opinion but let's just keep our opinion to ourselves. But I see what you saying. X) lol
