  • I use a piece of a Q-tip stem that I can eyeball measure and break off with my hands in a matter of seconds. Picked up that tip off a forum a few years back for holding the sear/trigger/disconnect in one piece.

  • Great idea for a pin!

  • Great bid helped me when i cleaned my 10/22 for the very first time

  • i am looking for my first gun im looking at some sort of 22 because i will be hunting small game so i was thinking of a 22 magnum for that extra bit of power for those kangaroos.

  • 17HMR!!!!! is what you need. But about roo's? neither the 17 or 22 mag is an ideal gun for such large game, but I'm no expert on roo's being im from Arizona! just my 2 centavos

  • your the man! ive been doing something similar for years when putting my 10/22 trigger assembley together... i use a widdled down piece of wood. i think your weedeater string trick will be a bit easier. thanks for the info!!!

  • I have a problem with my trigger not fully returning after I take a shot.

I sometimes have to push the trigger forward with my pointer finger to get it to reset.

I put a new trigger return spring in, but it still has the same problem.

Any advice on how to fix it without buying a new trigger?

    Thanks!

  • It's probably a damaged spring. The small spring that pushes the trigger forward, located near the top of the spring. I think I had a similar problem. Disassemble it and recheck everything for correct assembly.

  • Nice work Douggie. Thanks for the effort.

  • i never comment videos but i have to give u props here this was very helpful,
