Thre is nothing in Monaco except banks and luxury car dealer...and a boring grand prix de Monaco just behind the Cannes film festival...Do you live in a country of nothern europe?...Do you need some sun more than what you have at home?
Tourism is for poeple getting bored at home and need more "spicy"life"...Queue line anywhere!..high prices!...Doing what the other do because because no imagination?..no Fantasy?.
@pacific653 Well, I'll take your advice. I've been to Nice too, it's wonderful! Actually I'm a southern girl, from Portugal, so I don't really have problems concerning sun and hot weather. xD What I liked about it is that there is so much sea in the horizon it's as if it was always peeking you, and it's beautiful. Here we have a lot of sea too, but it's colder and wavier.
@pacific653 Also, the localization is perfect, since it's between France and Italy, two countries I absolutely love and to where I've been to, and I find it so cozy and so cosmopolitan at the same time because it's a very little area with so much life inside. But I believe what you say, I also felt that it was too much of a sofisticated place, there must be funnier places to spend the vacations.

Spend some vacations in Maubeuge...It's nice too..or Charleville meziere...one more nice place in France..provence in summer is stuck of tourists...
