And no. The word infidel is not used in the Koran. The word used is 'kuffar' which translates as disbeliever. Furthermore, in a historical context this is used to refer to polytheists (and much less so- atheists). Christians and Jews are fellow believers. Etymologically, therefore, you are completely wrong.
